Seems that something is in the works. I found this show for Oct 20 at the Whisky in Hollywood.

And there's also this date on Nov 7 in St. Louis.

Didn't manks already say they're playing near him soon too?

Maybe he did. I didn't see anything when I did a quick search though.

I think he dropped it into some other thread somewhere. Possibly the Upcoming Shows thread?

Side note: Autumn might as well be renamed heavy metal season. Judas Priest, King Diamond, Satan, and now Raven will all be touring the states during that time.

Isn't Autumn ALWAYS great tours season? It is here because no one wants to compete with the festivals during the Summer.

It wouldn't be a problem if you had a bigger country :finger:

Quit acting like the UK is big. Your imperial days ended long ago. ;)

Yes, but this many great heavy metal tours happening at the same time is unusual.

I don't know much about this band sadly, but it's a metal show in STL, so why not?

You should give Wiped Out (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuTdnkDflmE) a listen!

We've never been geographically big. We actually like that. It means we're not always bitching about how long it takes to go anywhere or that bands aren't playing down the street ;)

Agreed.
There is usually a noticeable uptick in metal activity in the U.S. during September of a given year. But THIS year is a particularly extreme spike.

Sounds like Bruce Dickinson singing over the Killers album.

Every Raven album rules. You literally cannot lose.

I'm pretty sure that Night Demon is on the entire run and that there'll be a Pittsburgh date too. All I know is that I am all over this shit. Raven is easily the best live NWOBHM band discounting Maiden. So fucking good.

Oct 27 -- Elbo Room -- San Francisco, CA

Weird how there are so many days between shows that are in close proximity to each other. This is either going to be an extensive tour or they'll be sight seeing a lot.

Andrew Metalhead will be serving as Night Demon's merch dude/TM, go say hi to him if you get the chance!

I will attempt to make the Whisky, Ventura and SF happen for this run. I need to see Raven on many occasions. I cannot die happy until I've heard Faster than the Speed of Light live.
