The "misfits" have been touring every Fall for the past 10 years or something. Nobody cares.

If they have been touring for 10 years, people care enough to keep them touring.

Now saying that's a good thing, but it is true.

I actually had tickets to see them last October in Chicago. I had a fight with my wife or something and ended up not going. I really didn't care. But they got my money so I guess I'm part of the problem.

Do you realize how much money these guys would make if they put aside their differences with Glenn? I'm talking "license to print money". When I saw Danzig last August it was awesome. But when Doyle came out to do Misfits songs the place exploded.

Everyone wants it to happen, but it won't.

I heard Metallica offerened them one million to do a tour that involved a 45 minute opening set. Everyone was down except Jerry. He felt it was selling out and wanted Danzig to be baptized. Fuck that fool.

And he still sings about underage children being horny and raping mothers. Very Christian of you Jerry.

The last time I saw the Misfits was in 1997 opening up for Gwar and Megadeth (separate shows). That was the American Psycho tour (and Cryptic Writings!).

Oh the Misfits... My only memory was seeing them on the Motörhead tour in '08. It was uncomfortable. They actually sound checked in front of the crowd. Airbourne played. Misfits set up, then the band came out in full gear, sound checked with the lights still on for maybe 5-10 mins, left came back out and played their (now abbreviated) set. It was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen at a concert to this day. Crowd was so confused. What a special memory. On an unrelated note they dropped off a day or 2 after.

Not every band has roadies to sound check for them...

I get if it's a smaller underground band but The Misfits wouldn't have someone that sound checks for them?

I think there had to be something else going on. They seemed not very happy & dropped off shortly after.

I haven't followed any of their drama - he wants Glenn to be baptized as a Christian before touring with him? Seriously?

If I recall, Doyle is all for a reunion. It's Glenn and Jerry that are holding things back.

He said in some interview that he won't reconcile with Danzig until he stops singing about antichrist/satanic stuff. Danzig/Doyle is good enough for me, I don't need the authentic shitty rhythm section to enjoy Misfits songs.

That right there. As long as Glenn is singing it it's really all I need. Doyle being there is just another layer of awesome.

That said, getting back with Jerry would be awesome.

There have been recent meetings that Doyle set up with with Glenn and Jerry but that obviously diidnt work out. Instead They're both suing each other over the Hot Topic Misfits merch royalties (im not kidding).

For reals tho,if you go to this tour and not the Samhain one you're the biggest goof in the world.

At least in Philly Samhain is playing a venue over 3 times the capacity of the one the Misfits are playing
