Great news. I've been a Weird Al fan since Dare To Be Stupid came out. It's nice to see after all these years he's still staying relevant and gets a number one album on the billboard charts. Over the course of his last three albums, I don't know what songs he's parodying anymore unless it's a big rock hit. But that doesn't make me enjoy it any less. He puts more effort in to writing his parodies than most artists put in to writing the originals.

Word crimes is awesome too. I've seen him once, hopefully I'll catch him again.

Word Crimes is easily one of the best parodies/songs he's ever done.

Is it actually a parody of a specific song? I don't recognise it at all.

I never heard the original before either. I checked out after I heard the parody. The original is a truly terrible song.

I had never heard that Iggy Azalea song that the "Handy" parody is based off of before. What a godawful piece of garbage that song is.

Weird Al is a miracle worker turning turds into gold.

Pretty crazy that that's all one continuous shot. I would've been so nervous about screwing up if I was involved in this.

This has generally been my experience over the years... hear Weird Al's version first and then the original.

Yup. And she can flow.

Handy is still a better crafted song. As is Word Crimes.

This. Plus her music isn't all that bad.

Charli XCX is by far the more talented of that pairing.

I wasn't even hating on her. That's a persona she puts out there in her music after all.

If I'm hating on anyone, it's moreso the people that gladly eat that shit up.

That song does have a fairly decent hook, I will admit that. That's why I like the Weird Al version.

I was going to post that!
I checked out a few (well... most of the album) songs on the YouTube and really enjoyed it. Last time I bought a Weird Al CD was when I was in 4th or 5th Grade (Running With Scissors) and listened to it non-stop, may grab te new one!
