Maiden will be streamed at Rock am Ring on June 5th. This will be the site which will stream it: http://www.dasding.de/rock-am-ring/Livestream/-/id=698062/nid=698062/did=857740/zgd2e1/index.html

Maiden's show is scheduled for 7 PM (GMT).
That's 1PM central USA time. Looks like I'll be waking up earlier than usual on Thursday! :D

You wake up past 1pm usually?

Will probably check this out, depending on the sound quality.

I'll be at work and then making a three hour drive out of town unfortunately. But I'll probably check out a few videos after the fact.

I'm so sorry hear that PowerMaiden! At least you'll be able to catch a recording on youtube. This sort of counts for my 4th time seeing Maiden as well. It may not be here in person, but it's still live!

It's also Nicko's birthday so that will be fun to see what they do.

Bands should make some of their shows streamable via a fan club or something. Even make fans pay to see these things. We are in 2014 and that would be a way for them to make more $$. I would pay to see some of my favorites bands via a live stream. It's the next best thing to a real concert.

I had such a great time watching Slayer and Maiden last year at Rock In Rio via internet. I had beer and we were the whole family chanting all set long...

We sang happy birthday to him last year in Paris after Bruce spoke a bit about him in French, no idea what was said really though. I had a sign I made for him wishing him a happy birthday and he saw it at the end of the set and got a kick out of it, so that was cool.

This x a billion; I wish all the major festivals in UK/Europe would stream and the bands too. I also hate when a band only lets 2-3 songs get recorded :bouville:

It looks like things are running a bit late there. Offspring sounds pretty good though.

Nevermind. I got the times mixed up. Maiden will be on in about half an hour if I'm correct.

HELL YES!!! That was so amazing!!! And that makes my 4th time seeing Maiden! Even though this one and the last were live web streams, I'm still counting it!

Bruce's vocals on Aces High weren't as good this time around as compared to Rock In Rio. He really seems to fluctuate on that one a lot. It's too bad that he can't keep it a bit more consistent. It does sound like a hard one to sing though. The overall sound quality was quite a bit better and the stream didn't freeze at 720p which was great.

I don't care if it's a live stream or not, watching a band concerts online or on a DVD does not mean you saw them.

I watch WWE live during the week but I don't consider myself there for the event.

I absolutely smashed Cal Ripkens games streak by the time I was in high school. Where's my hall of fame plaque?

Well, that's fine if you see it that way. And no, I don't count seeing footage of shows that didn't have a live stream as seeing the band in concert. Sure, it's not the same as actually being there, but it's still pretty amazing. And in this same thread, I see some of you saying that it would be great if bands did this more often and that you would actually pay for it and if you did pay for it, I bet you would count it as actually seeing the band live and regardless of what you think, that's how I'm counting seeing live streams of bands.

So I'm guessing you've "seen" QR like 65 million times right?

No, because I've never watched an actual, live stream of theirs. I saw the stream of the Maiden show live, as they were actually playing. I didn't watch it later. That wouldn't count for me as actually seeing it live.

I said that because my reasoning is that I love live shows in audio form and most streaming shows have ok-good sound to them, and Rock AM Ring can be hit or miss but if a band streams their whole show I will usually download it and convert it to audio and put it in my iPod.

I don't count it as seeing a band live because if I tried to masturbate to porn while I am at a show I would get hit with pepper spray and thrown in jail; no worries about that at home:D

Pepper spray wouldn't feel too good in your urethra! If others on here don't see that as seeing the band live, that's cool, but I personally choose to view it that way. Either way, it's all good. :)
