For as much as these bands tour in some combination or other, I have somehow managed to see Tyr just one time (which was not even a tour stop) and have never seen Eluveitie. If I can get to this one, I will.

I'm still bummed that I missed that tour, but if we get this it will make up for it. This lineup is better than most Paganfests IMO.

Please post more dates as they come in, although I'm sure this won't come to Boise because nothing does anymore.

Royale show bumped down to Sinclair.

Ouch.

Got scared when I saw this bumped, I thought the tour got canceled. Considering I am interviewing Eluveitie tomorrow, that would suck.

Royale show bumped down to Sinclair.

Ouch.

Not that big a drop. Royale holds about 800 for shows, Sinclair about 650. If it got pushed to Palladium upstairs or a Brighton venue, that would be a very bad sign.

I'm actually kinda happy - Sinclair is easier for me to get to from north of Boston and the beer selection and venue layout is really good. It's a great place to see a show.

Royale: 775
Sinclair: 525

Royale is infinitely easier to get to for the sole fact that it's not in Harvard Square. Park across from Sullivan Station on Spice Street (no meters, non-residential), Orange Line to Tufts Medical, walk half a block up, walk half a block over, you're there.

I'm shocked Sinclair is that small. It feels bigger than that. That capacity makes it smaller than the middle east downstairs (something like 660).

Valid point, there are lots of ways to get to Royale via the Orange Line, but on a Tuesday it's easy to find free spots in Harvard Square too. If it was a weekend show I would've been more annoyed.

Maybe I'm biased, I've seen 3 metal shows at Royale and it feels so out of place, Sinclair is just a more natural vibe for this type of show.
