I hate The Bunny The Bear with a passion but I LOVE Dog Fashion Disco and Psychostick.

This is my favorite tour poster of the year so far!

One of the best underground Rock bands of the 2000s decade. They were signed to Serj's ill faded record label for a couple albums but write some really killer albums. They are a mix of Experimental and Alternative Rock
Here's one of their heavier songs off their last album Adultery:

Members of Dog Fashion Disco created Polkadot Cadaver, if you ever heard of them.

They were kind of on the fringes of nu-metal.... they're like Mr. Bungle lite

The only time I ever saw Dog Fashion Disco was opening up for Slayer and Killswitch on the '04 Jager tour. The audience wasn't very into them, but at least they weren't getting openly booed like Killswitch was

I loved DFD in high school and although I rarely listen to them these days Anarchists of Good Taste is still a great listen. Last time I saw them was summer 2004 at the Webster Underground in Hartford, CT with maybe 15 people in attendance.

I saw DFD open for Lacuna Coil in 2003. The place was empty, but the people who were there gave them a reasonably good response. I thought the band's performance of their music was better than the music itself, although my receptiveness for their kind of stuff has actually increased over time.

I also must say that they have the write spelling of 'Merica. I never found Murrica or Murka as funny as 'Merica.

Never seen DFD, always meant to and almost did in 05. May have to do this(most of the bands do Trenton a lot so they'll probably get this show)

Gets what? The ability to ripoff everything Mike Patton did in the 1990's?

Yeah it's blatant Bungle influence/imitation but I still dig it.

they're like Mr. Bungle lite

i know youre saying that in the "lesser" sense, but soundwise they actually were like a heavier bungle

being a gigantic FNM/bungle fan, the patton similarities were a bit offputting at first, but i really did come to enjoy DFD a lot. there was an insane glut of patton worship bands at the very end of the 90s, and DFD easily was the best of them all.

Nah, we got tired of the smell of oil refineries and that minor crime issue, so we put it somewhere more fitting.
