ACL is the reason why PBS should stay funded forever.

Yep, it was taped last November-

^ Looking forward to watching it though. They aired a good Queens Of The Stone Age performance in January (which was taped last October) as well as a nice Radiohead performance sometime in 2012.

ACN is usually good for something a couple of times a year.

I've never been to a taping for the tv show there, but I've seen Deftones and Louis CK at the venue. For the tapings they do a raffle for locals for some seats... I tried for NIN and for Radiohead, but no luck...

I enjoyed the QOTSA show from a few months ago. I'll be checking this out.

It was definitely interesting. I never thought of Trent Reznor as a musical genius but by definition, he might be.

In semi-related news that Soundgarden - Live from the Artists Den is not to be missed. Blind Dogs and New Damage with the Slaves & Bulldozers outro....

Chris Cornell's voice is back. Dude sang New Damage better than I could have ever imagined. The highlight of my week for sure!

I remember an interview with Trent from around 2002 where he was talking about the recording process for the Fragile. He was talking about experimenting with audio files of a beehive in his backyard for a week, and a bunch of other "out there" stuff. I don't know if that's genius but its certainly different, adventurous and something I would never think of doing.

So the next time you listen to the Fragile tell me if you hear the beehive. He said it was in there.
