Cannot believe how great he was on Blizzard of Oz

One of my biggest influences on guitar, Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman both were epic.

I give him five fists up.

His riffs are pretty much the reason why I got into metal. RIP.

Yes, perhaps his masterpiece was Diary of A Madman!

RIP. He was such an amazing guitar player. I am fortunate to know his family. I received this special bottle of Randy Rhoads wine in 2010.

When I was assigned to write an article about music in my autobiography in 10th grade I wrote mostly about Randy Rhoads (and Jimmy Page).

Definitely a very important figure in my metal-listening infancy.

The Tribute live album was regular listening for me when I was 14 and transitioning from classic rock to metal. Just an amazingly classy player blessed with an incredible ear for melody.

One of the best ever. That's about all there is to it. RIP Randy.
