Since those are initial dates, I hope it's safe to assume that isn't it for N.A.

If they don't announce a Buffalo show, I may have to think about going to the Toronto one. Prices will be ridiculous, so we'll see. So, they're really playing Dallas one night then Toronto the next? I know if they fly out after the show it's not impossible, but that is some strange tour routing.

Think I paid around $80 to see them back in 09. Was definitely an outstanding show. It's the most I ever paid for a concert ticket, but it was also totally worth it. It was also really fricken loud.

I paid $90 on the last tour, but like you said, completely worth it. Maiden and Rush are the only other bands I've paid more to see.

I'm starting to have doubts that this is real. The link posted said this news was from January 8th. Why are we just hearing about something this big now? More importantly, why is there nothing on AC/DC's official page? Always check the official page first.

Fake, but:

AC/DC is one of those bands that I'd like to see at least once before they're gone forever, but won't be too sad if I don't get to.

And they'll probably jack ticket prices WAY up.

Other bands like this for me: Kiss, Motley Crue, Poison, Cheap Trick

Didn't even have to scroll down to know it was fake.

Any band in their right mind isn't going to play in Texas one day & Canada the day after. California to DC over 2 days is even a stretch.

It's Official: Hitting Studio in May (http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/brian-johnson-says-acdc-will-enter-studio-in-may/)

Johnson confirms it on FL radio. They do plan on doin 40 dates. Just not the fake ones that were posted on 1st page.

I'd kill to see them. But no way this is even within like 5-6 hours of me.

I'm glad they're doing Europe in the summer. Unless they come right over in August, this greatly decreases their chances of doing a stadium tour. I love AC/DC, but the show at Gillette in '09 was a fucking horror show for parking. The show ended at 1115. Didn't get out of the parking lot until 130. Didn't get home until 3.

While I wasn't really interested in a stadium gig anyway, AC/DC can fuck off with their prices as well.

These are for London, in American (rough conversion, including booking fee, not including shipping):

Standing - $126
5th tier (yes, really) seats - $113
1st or 2nd tier seats - $165
(no 3rd or 4th tier seats available, those are the corporate boxes)

EDIT: and it took longer than expected, but it sold out.

I paid $92 for 2nd row loge at the Garden show in '08 & $107.20 for front row at the 40 yard line at the Gillette show in '09.

They're still reasonable compared to U2, Eagles & Aerosmith.

Whereas I paid about £45 ($70) for amazing seats right on top of the stage, 1st tier at the O2 Arena in '08.

They had Motorhead last year. There are old heavy metal/hard rock bands that have so many ubiquitous "anthems" that hipsters can throw them on their Apple TV's while drinking microbrews at their housewarming party and get a few chuckled "huhuhu I remember this song when my Dad played it the garage working on cars xD lmao that's so patriarchy" comments, so Coachella snags them up every so often.

dcmetal stoked for the Wrigley Field show.

Chicago can finally leave Wrigley Field happy for once in their lives.

Might grab a nosebleed pair for the SF date for me and my dad. I had fantastic seats when I saw them in '09, no need to pay up that much dough again.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Slade tackles the tunes. Back on The Razor's Edge tour, he played them crazy fast.

Same here. I told myself I wouldn't go but I've never seen a show at the ballpark so it's a little more enticing

Some big gaps there. I'd expect more dates.

I hope so, Denver needs some love:snivel:

Probably the most reasonably priced tickets for arguably the biggest band in the world.

I paid $92.50 for the 2008 & 2009 shows, so I'm surprised they didn't go up substantially.

Thats not too bad. If I do end up going, it'll be with the $50 dollar tickets.

IF that ends up being it for the tour, then that's really messed up. Only 13 shows and more than half of them are in Canada?

I doubt it, they would be leaving a whole lotta money on the table. And I don't think guys in their 60s tour around the world singing songs about fucking fat chicks for the love of the game.

Of course they don't.

In fact, all famous hardrock & metal bands are in it for the money only. Except Maiden.

I'm sure Maiden didn't sneeze at the $97 I (and a shitload of others paid to see them) in 2012.

I will give Maiden credit for one thing though, they did the e-mail confirmation system for tickets on that tour, which every major band should do to eliminate scalpers.

I was being sarcastic, because they seem to be the only big band according to a certain amount of metalfans that stayed troo and stuff.

That's all folks. :allan::allan::allan:

Edmonton sold out in like an hour. I was at work and didn't have a back up so I wasn't able to get tickets. I'll try and get some on Stubhub or something in a month when the prices aren't so insane.

Still tickets available for Toronto, probably because the choice of venue isn't a popular one with the people I've talked to. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather see them at the Skydome:hecho:

What section? We got B3 or B4 so we are like right in the middle I don't remember where though.

B5 was still available at 10PM yesterday. For single seats, anyway.

I'm holding off on pulling the trigger for any summer shows. There's a high likelihood of me moving roughly 2,500 miles across the country at some point in May or June.

Downsview is where they held Heavy TO right? Can I ask why that's a bad choice? I think seeing ACDC at an all general admission venue would be ridiculously awesome. I wish all big name shows were like that

The problem isn't really the venue itself, just the location. It's a hike to get there, almost no parking that's nearby, and getting home on the transit will probably take a couple of hours. Heavy TO didn't have huge attendance (only went the first year), and it wasn't too bad, but AC/DC will gaurntee to have easily four times as many people.

Just announced today - Vintage Trouble will be opening for AC/DC on the North American leg of the Rock Or Bust Tour.

I'm excited about this - These guys are the shit! Check them out if you haven't already... and live they are amazing!

Meh.

Dealing with all the headaches of Gillette Stadium was worth it once. Not twice. Especially considering the setlist contains 15 of the same songs.

AC/DC has been at the top of my bucket list for years, so this is a must-see for me!

And other then the oppressive, inescapable heat, I've never had an issue with shows there... ymmv!

Yep, they're pretty good indeed. Saw them twice on the tour for the first album, then they just disappeared.

Although what I've from the new album is pretty ordinary.
