The band is announcing this on Tuesday, should be an indication of what they do come summer as well.

Since I am like, the only Volbeat fan here, I'll probably go if there's a date nearby.

I like Volbeat as well, albeit them almost always having shit openers (exception being Iced Earth in June 2012, but I still had to sit through the suckfest that is All That Remains anyway).

They seem to be decently popular around here. It'll probably be a HOB show.

Probably gonna be a KC date.

Just like the Carnifex tour

This tour will basically dictate the rest of their year. I feel like they could do Uproar or Trespass America(or honestly even Mayhem). If this tour hits smaller markets it'll be indicative of what their summer plans on(so far they aren't doing anything in Europe, and they're never done a big US summer run).

It's a tour with trivium and digital summer. They're playing seven flags event center in Clive Iowa on April 19

You mean except for festivals June through August?

Yay, more wonderful openers -_-

And if that one date dictates the rest of the tour, it'll be a B market run.

Would see Trivium only, and that's depending on what they play.

I like Volbeat and want to see them and love Trivium so if this hits House Of Blues I'll try my best to go.

It annoys me when a band makes a shitty album, and by chance that album coincides with them getting noticed for a completely separate reason, but because of getting noticed that album gets really big, so they keep making shit like that album because they think it's the reason they're big.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the story of Volbeat and why their last three albums have been formulaic crap.

Same can be said of Muse...

But I will be avoiding this tour like the plague.

Something wrong Beaker? :D

Black Holes and Revelations is a near-perfect album though.

That's when everyone in the US discovered them and that's when i noticed their sound started to suck, even going back and listening to it, it irks me.

I'm only going just for Digital Summer I could care less about the 2 other bands.

That's very strange that this is at Taco Bell Arena here in Boise, that is the basketball arena where the very popular groups like Billy Joel, Katy Perry, etc. play since it seats a ton of people.

Well, I wanted to attend this until I saw the prices at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center. Unless I read incorrectly, it is one of the most expensive dates. Too bad, I really wanted to see Trivium in this kind of setting; I have only seen them outdoors and they are a favorite of mine.

If anyone cares, Volbeat pretty much leaked that they are on Carolina Rebellion May 3rd. Not surprised considering they had to cancel last year.

not surprised since all those spring midwest/southern rock festivals have essentially the same lineup
