He's planning to do a tour celebrating the album's 15th anniversary. Clearly he won't be doing the tour as Static X.

I'll help him out! This show would be fun.

I'm waiting for him to bring back Ken and Koichi out of spite

This wouldn't be worth more than $15 at the most. I also saw the actual Static X atleast 5 times. For me it's not worth a ton but I'm guessing you never saw them so I understand your eagerness.

I left before I saw them at the free Ozzfest and I wish I would've stayed.

I saw Static X 5 times over the years(missed them at Ozzfest 99) and they were always fun, wouldn't mind seeing the solo band for cheap(which I assume it would be) probably would play Delaware like Soulfly did last year

Is Static X active, or does he solely do solo stuff now?

His solo band toured in 2012 as Static X but since then some legal stuff has come up and he can't use the name without Tony's consent(or something like that).

Tony owns name. Wayne has to do it under his name.

I think if he pays Tony he can use the name, but the amount wouldn't be worth what they'd make touring

I saw Static-X on their first tour Wisconsin Death Trip. It was actually a very good concert. I'd never heard of them and at first I thought the hair was stupid. But they are great. The hair is still stupid though.

hey if the show is dirt cheap I'll go. Hopefully he throws in some other Static-x songs

Yeah and when he came here I didn't know any of the openers(Prong cancelled), the previous time they headlined in Philly they had Shadows Fall, 3 Inches of Blood, and Divine Heresy.

If Wayne Static was considered support/direct support with a way better band and there was somebody really really good as the support then yes $25 is acceptable. I've seen bands way bigger than Wayne Static where I didn't pay $25. No bueno.

Lately 25 has been the cheapest for the Philly area, it'd reeeeally depend on the opener(and possibly the venue)

I know one solo tour he did had Kyng and Eye Empire, that'd be solid

Man I loved this album in middle school and I never saw Static-X. Tempting.... If Bevan is still drumming I might have to go.

I'm not sure whose in the band, the bassist he had for the solo run definitely isn't coming back. I think the guitarist from his solo band might still be touring with him though(he recently left the other band he was playing with). Years ago Wayne said his wife word play bass, I wonder if that's gonna happen.

Umm isn't his wife a porn star? Does she even play bass? Weird. The hair is still stupid.

Tera Wray. I'll leave the googling to you.

Evan Seinfeld wins the "metal guy married to a pornstar" sweepstakes though.

I dont know if it's a win marrying someone that does gang bangs. For a normal person it's not. Wayne Static is not a normal person.

Every time I see a picture of him I hear Randy Savage's voice in my head yelling at me to snap into a Slim Jim.

That said, Wisconsin Death Trip is the only Static-X album I've ever liked, and I might just go to this if it were convenient and cheap.

Nope, they are 2nd or 3rd support slot. The whole lineup for the show hasn't been announced yet, I guess the MN show is going to be a festival type show or something.

Has Head Charge not drawn well in their Minnesota return shows?

Christ, I remember back in the late 90s when Head Charge would get a bigger reaction than the national headliners at shows like X-Fest.

I don't know about the Midwest, but when they played Trenton NJ there was probably less than 20 people when they came on(lame local bands and Psychostick-who I dug-drew mostve the crowd)

They opened the MN date of summer Slaughter last year and were easily the worst band of the entire bill, and that's a tour with Rings Of Saturn on it!

There isn't one band I enjoy in that whole lot, although to be fair there is 4 bands I haven't heard of so that could change. But the fact that 5/6ths are complete balls, says something.

Knowing who the promoter is, as good of a guy he is, that is unlikely to happen to where the best local bands would be playing this.

So since it's Wayne Static (who's not much of a draw) and twenty-five other bands, what size of venue is this at? A high school with TWO gyms?

Studio B is a very tiny room that holds a few hundred people and the Skyway Theater is an old Play/Theater room that can hold over a thousand people.
