I wonder if this tour is hitting Boston. Or any House of Blues venues.

I don't know, I can't really see them doing that.

Luckily they aren't into the whole Irish/St. Patrick's Day thing.

They are okay and seem like they'd be fun live but I don't get the whole die hard love and cult like status they have.

I want the attendance number every show they have in that huge bulk of HOB shows. I mean two in one day, is that really necessary?

The only one that isn't sold out is the 13th.

Really? Is the venue really small or something?

It's the largest House of Blues there is. 2,425 listed capacity.

They've been doing the St. Patrick's Week homestand for years now. The TBA date will either be an afternoon show in Lowell at the Tsongas or An Evening With at the Brighton Music Hall. THAT venue is small, roughly 450 capacity.

You're aware that Dropkick Murphys are from Boston, right?

The Chicago show is like 5,000 capacity.

Still didn't know they were that huge.

But bands at that level even from Chicago couldn't play like 6 days in a row for like 8 shows and sell them all out.

Boston + Drunk Irish people + DKM = $$$$

I've seen them twice. 2008 at the Tsongas and one of the 2009 HOB shows. It's a fun show. Plus, drunk women = Titty flashes galore

I've seen them a few times - fun live band, but one that is doomed to play smaller rooms. In a hot, crowded, sweaty club - great show. In a large space (like when they opened for Aerosmith in Mansfield - NOT "Boston") they are completely out of their element and sucked!
