So to all my fellow Torontonians and other Southern Ontario people who are affected (I know there's a lot of you on this forum), who still doesn't have power? I'm one of the lucky ones that only lost power for less than 12 hours. I got power back (and really everything back) at around 3:30 pm on the 22nd. I'm still reading that there's still a lot of people affected, and it could take 2-3 days before they get their power restored. Hell, even 1 block away from where I live there's no power restored yet.

We never lost power in Keswick.

The wheel fell off my snow blower though, so the day wasn't a total loss.

My parents in Whitby did lose power until 2pm Sunday, which is pretty bad considering they're on a hospital grid.

2 Hospitals in T.O. (Sunnybrook and Toronto East General) are still running on back-up generators I think.

I never lost power either, but we're in Keswick as well. My parents in Aurora were down most of yesterday.

The power gods felt bad enough for us.

*insert "too soon" joke about how i'd rather be in Toronto without power than in Keswick with power*

It's never too soon for that joke, I'd rather be in Toronto with a gun pointed at my head then in Keswick.
