I haven't gone back to compare, but haven't all these Sabbath sets been more or less identical? I know Ozzy's voice can't handle a lot of the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath/Sabotage stuff because they're basically out of his range now, but couldn't they throw in Electric Funeral, Hand of Doom, After Forever, Cornucopia...? My apologies if they have, I've just been casually observing these set lists and they seem pretty damn static.

That's worse than any American amphitheater.

'1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre' is right on par with it, even though it was recently renamed to a much more tolerable 'MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre'.

It's probably our worst for sure. Renamed this year from the M.E.N Arena. All local signage still has the old name. There are worse in the US though, as others have pointed out.

I've always thought our Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence was bad.

One of the colleges in florida was going to name their football stadium after the Geo Carlson Group, who runs private prisons...that is the worst i've heard.

They certainly are on this European leg.

I know people assume Ozz can't sing anything after Volume 4 properly, but to be honest, the stuff on Volume 4 was just as high as the SBS and Sabotage stuff. All he's done with those songs is sing them in a lower key. I see no reason why he can't adjust the others in the same way.

Although frankly, given how I've now twice in a row at Sabbath shows been surrounded by people who have no idea what Snowblind and Into The Void are, let alone Under The Sun and Behind The Wall of Sleep, I can see why they're leaving that stuff out.

Just like in London, most people thought this set went:

War Pigs
(some stuff)
Iron Man
(some stuff)
Paranoid

In terms of changes next year, I think all we can expect is maybe something like Sweet Leaf gets back in. Personally, I'd go nuts for Never Say Die, Hole In The Sky, Symptom of The Universe, Shock Wave, Lord of This World, Supernaut, Wicked World, Psycho Man, Hand of Doom, A National Acrobat, Tomorrow's Dream, Spiral Architect, Johnny Blade, or After Forever, but it's just not going to happen.

To be honest, I'm amazed they've persisted with some of the ones they've kept. In the current set, that run from Into The Void through Age of Reason kills the crowd. It's probably my favourite part of the set, but people who go to these big shows just don't know the songs :(

Here in Canada Rogers Communications seems to be taking over a whack of arenas so there will be Rogers Place, Rogers Centre, Rogers Arena and so on!!

KFC YUM and 1-800 Ask Gary were two of my faves though in the USA for naming rights.

Or the good ole Sleep Train Amphitheatre which it seems like there are 3 or 4 of them in California (Chula Vista, Concord and Marysville/Sacramento)

They changed it back to Fiddler's Green Amphitheater this year after the naming rights expired.

Ah, I see your point. That's a shame, kind of like how all the tools are voting the same old Metallica songs into the set when they have a chance to create something really cool and unique. Oh well, if it's a good show, it's a good show. I'd love to hear something like A National Acrobat or Megalomania though!

Metallica's Rock Werchter By Request is clearly being created by a festival audience, Nothing Else Matters is your proof.

For that reason I'm not going to see them this year.
