From his FB about 45 minutes ago

"Update on Josh- it's been a few days since his surgery, but he's still in a lot of pain. At this point were just taking it day by day, hoping the pain lets up finally. The doctor hasn't really said anything new, just that the pain needs to pass."

Poor guy :(

Ouch. Pretty sure recovery for something like that is lengthy, but I'm sure he'll get through it just fine.

Hey guys.

Holy Fuck I was not expecting a thread dedicated to me getting better. thank you so very very much for the well wishes.

A short update on everything that happened. A month a half ago I was diagnosed with Gastritis/Type II Diabetes after being in the hospital for 11 days.

Last Sunday I had to go back to the ER and 2 days later they got rid of my gallbladder.

Right now I am currently going through MAJOR Constipation and it is slowly going away and I am slowly getting better.

Thanks again guys for everything. I really truly appreciate everything!

Another update

I am at home right now contemplating going back to the ER. I am weak as hell and dizzy anytime I stand up. I am throwing up anytime I try to eat or drink. I gotta wait for someone to become available to drive mt to the ER. There is no way I have the strength to do it myself.

All I want to do is get better. tomorrow I will have been 25 for 2 months and i have spent nearly a quarter of the that time in the hospital. :(

Hey guys, I am back.

Hopefully you guys didn't miss me too much, haha. Well like John said, I was discharged before and 9 hours later I was back in the hospital with some of the worst pain I ever felt.

then for the next 4 days I was given only Tylenol to ease my pain. I was told pain medications like Dilaudid (or however it is spelled) and Morphine would only make my stomach pain worse. It wasn't until this past Saturday they doctors finally figured out what was going on....they got me addicted to Dilaudid...hospital grade Heroin!

When I had my gallbladder taken out they doped me up so much I became addicted and then left me cold turkey ever since then. My body couldn't take it and I was in misery for weeks. from the ER visit to Saturday Night I was on 4 hours sleep, MAYBE, no food, barely any water, constantly throwing up, shivering and wanting to die. It wasn't until I got on Methadone that I finally started getting relief and I then slept for the better part of 36 hours.

Today is the first day since entering the hospital the first time that I actually feel like I can get back to normal. It's still going to take roughly a month for me to be fully back on track but it will be worth it.

The sad part is that I had to sadly step down from opening for Morbid Angel on the 18th, but I did get one hell of a fill in to take my place... Mr. Duane Timlin (Anal Blast, Divine Empire, Dying Fetus, Invidiosus). So he has my total blessing.

I totally had nothing to do with this, but just in case any of you are generous enough, my guitarist's girlfriend made a fundraiser page for me to help with medical bills and to get my life back on track, if you feel like donating the link is here:

http://www.gofundme.com/53uw74

Hopefully, this is my last time being in the hospital for a long, Long, LONG time.

Glad that your back.

Now time for my job in pharmacy to kick in.

Be careful on the methadone since you'll get hooked on that just as quickly as the others.

Thanks guys!

I am still very much in recovery mode. walking for a while or going up and down stairs takes all the energy out of my system, but I am able to move about and take care of myself which is the most important thing.

Now I just need these drugs out of my system so I can fully recover. Withdrawals are a motherfucker.

Be mindful of the withdrawls. When I stopped taking anti-depressants I developed body spasms for a month

Hey guys

I am heading over to Mayo Clinic today as soon as my dad can pick me up at my house. He has a bed in his truck so I could lay down while heading over there.

Yesterday while puking in front of the doctor, I was kicked out of United Hospital in St. Paul for them saying "There is nothing else we can do for you here". All the more reason I wanna sue their asses, but that's a whole different story.

When I'm not puking, I'm balling my eyes out in pain. I only felt good enough to do 10 albums in my huge list of 2013 music. Maybe one day I will feel good enough to be able to keep the thread going without a week going by.

I hate this feeling so much. Yesterday for lack of better words I was told that I am just below the line of intensive care, so I am not any kind of priority to the hospital. I hope the Mayo Clinic is different.

Dude, that is so fucked up. The health care system needs to step up their game and not be assholes about it. Sure, they may have done all they think they can, but that doesn't mean they need to risk someones health and give up. Fucking pathetic.

Hope you get better man! Kick some ass!

Hey Guys, just wanted to do a quick update on here for you all.

As of today they still haven't figured out what's wrong with me. It could be many number of things but nothing has answers yet. Things are slowly turning into my favor as it has been 3 weeks since I have been to the ER or admitted to the Hospital. I haven't thrown up in 2 weeks and the medications I am on are preventing the pain to be too excruciating and I can ALMOST live a normal life. I am still having a hard time with many things. Lifting, Walking up stairs staading for a long period of time, but it is getting better. I am even getting back to be able to play drums again a little bit each day. I played for a half hour straight today without any issues. That's a damn good thing.

There are still many obstacles in my way, but theya re getting dealt with one by one. There is a big Benefit in my honor tonight in Spring Lake Park, MN Featuring the Local Minnesota Death Metal bands We Are Legion, Ghost Hook, Ulvmord, Bludgeoned and Suffering Hour. If someone how you can make that show, it is 6 bucks at POV's in Spring Lake Park, MN and starts at 7pm.

If you can't make the show (I'm going to guess because of how far away it is) and you wanna donate, there is a GoFundMe page in my honor still going strong here. http://www.gofundme.com/53uw74 Any amount will be treasured greatly, and even if you just wanna wish me well, that's all I need too.

Thanks again guys for all the support you have given me!
