'Live... Gathered In Their Masses'

Out at the end of November.

Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEJ08MGyQyA

Looks and sounds good, but there's barely any Ozzy singing in the clip, which might be quite telling.

I am hearing some rumors that Sabbath will announce a US tour in November for early 2014.

I think the new live album will be great due to the fact I am sure they went in and corrected Ozzy's vocal mistakes. They probably went over it with a fine toothed comb.

:rocker:

This would be fantastic! Especially since I wasn't able to make it to any of their summer shows.

Yes please tell 'em to come to Denver since they skipped us this summer; Black Sabbath is #1 on my metal band bucket list

I had a band member whose band was verbally offered a potential slot as the opening act on that tour tell me this. He said that Sabbath was considering a US tour in the first part of 2014 but that it wasn't guaranteed to happen or a 'done deal'. Let the waiting game begin...

Any hints on that band?

One of the band members used to play in the headlining band... that is all I can say :D

Has to be Kill Devil Hill. Or Axel Rudi Pell, I suppose. Don't see him being much of an attraction in the US though.

The only other active bands with ex-Sabbath members are Snakecharmer, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, and KISS.

There's no way KISS or DP will open for anyone. Alice maybe, but unlikely. And Snakecharmer wouldn't do it in the US.

That'd be awesome if the US rumor is true. It would be even cooler if it was a club/theater run. I can dream, right?

Joe from black-sabbath.com says he doesn't think the tour will happen. He has solid sources. This will be interesting. With 13 dropping to solid reviews and a new live album/dvd coming out it seems odd that they wouldn't tour more unless they aren't getting along or its hard on Iommi's recovery which is understable if that is the case.

First post updated with full tracklist and release configuration details.

A shortened single CD is lame.

Hey cool, this is the first I've heard there's for sure going to be a BluRay. I can't fucking wait. That was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Black Sabbath w/Ozzy has been lacking a decent concert video for awhile now. That shit with the interviews cut into it from '99 makes me mad just thinking about it.

ravenheart

Yeah, it's all good and all, but the lack of a double CD with all the songs annoys me. Especially when, of course, they've picked all the new songs, and all the obvious, boring old ones, and cut the interesting old ones.

Doesn't matter how good a live concert video is, most people will listen to the CD more than they'll watch the DVD.

I absolutely hate it when bands leave tracks off the CD that are on the DVD. Guess I won't be buying this then.:tp:

You can always rip the missing songs from the DVD and burn them to CD.

Workarounds don't justify shoddy products.
