Sets now, review tomorrow. We got slightly different sets from Vader and Vital than what was posted before.

Vader:

1. Sothis
2. Vicious Circle
3. Fractal Light
4. Carnal
5. Reborn In Flames
6. Silent Empire
7. Chaos
8. Return To The Morbid Reich
9. Come And See My Sacrifice
10. Decapitated Saints
11. Dark Age
12. Wings
====
13. Helleluyah!!! (God Is Dead)
====
14. The Sword Of The Witcher (Brian Werner of Vital Remains on vocals)

Vital Remains:

1. Where Is Your God Now <-> Icons Of Evil
2. Scorned
3. Devoured Elysium
4. Hammer Down The Nails
5. Descent Into Hell (first time performed in 18 years)
6. Let The Killing Begin <-> Dechristianize

To be completely honest, this was probably one of the best shows I've ever seen. Each band from first to last completely blew me away, ESPECIALLY Sacrificial Slaughter, Vital Remains and Vader. I'm in awe from tonight.

Vader: 9/10
Vital Remains: 9/10
Sacrificial Slaughter 9/10
Execration: 8/10
Extremely Rotten: 9/10
Torn The Fuck Apart: 8.5/10

I hope VR keeps this set. Even though they're only playing one old song at least they're switching it up with two different songs.

Vader didn't start until Midnight and I know the Aftershock has that weird curfew where they say they'll kick out anyone under 21 starting at Midnight, but I still didn't notice that happening to anyone.

I don't know too much Vader but they played one song called Blood of Kingu when I saw them a few years ago that was fucking awesome. Too bad they haven't played it on many of the sets I've seen since. Regardless, Vader is really good live and I wish they were playing here. Anyone who does have the chance shouldn't pass it up.

Vital Remains actually played an old song?! I've seen them play since 2004, so that's absolutely shocking to me.

Yeah, I dunno. Kansas City goes apeshit for Vital Remains. One of the craziest crowds I've seen. The vocalist was jumping into the crowd to start pits and actually got up on the bar and dove off into the crowd a couple times. Really awesome!

How many people were there?

How many people were there?

Up until Vital, not a whole lot. I would say, all in all, maybe 100? It definitely wasn't the most people I've seen there, but there were more there for this show than there were for Ghoul and Exhumed.

With their accents you probably heard 8 as 18.

Your review has me wanting to drive down to San Antonio for this show. As much as I really want Vital to play something from Let Us Pray, they were still very good the one time I've seen them. And Vader is fucking Vader, so that goes without saying. You recall what Vader had in the way of merch?

Vaders merch selection was poor, they had one t-shirt available. It was an all over grey looking shirt, it was kind of odd looking. And they had 2 cds available, morbid reich, and Necropolis. And they had some home made odd looking thin black peices of fabric with glitter on them that said Vader and somthing else. Some kind of arm band i think! The merch guy said they ran out of all sizes of Vader tour shirts on the second day! :(
