Full review (http://heavymetalcowboysteve.blogspot.com/2013/09/kamelot-delain-eklipse-baltimore.html)

Eklipse opened- Female Apocalyptica basically but they had kind of an underwhelming setlist, and it was kind of lulling. THAT Is not to say they sucked, cause they didn't, they were very talented, but a very slow start to the evening, IMO.

Delain- a little cookie cutter, kind of nondescript, but pretty fun live. Certainly more lively than Eklipse. I'd see both again, but not sure if I'd see a headline show from either.

Kamelot- sounded pretty fantastic! However their setlist was about the same as last time (3 new songs), COULD/SHOULD have had more songs. I see at other shows on the tour they got "Don't Cry" or "When The Lights Go Down" in addition to the below. This was the second stop on the tour, so I imagine (well maybe 3rd if you include PR) they were still figuring out how to setlist it up. Alissa from the Agonist was doing backing vocals, Eklipse came out on stage for a couple songs (ex: My Confession). Delain's vocalist did NOT.

Overall a great show, but IMO Kamelot should have brought more exciting openers

(Found a pic of the setlist from the first stop in OH http://fuckyeahkamelot.tumblr.com/post/60550315902/tigerstarstenthlife-eklipses-setlist-from-the so it is matching up with that pretty much I think)

The first song from Eklipse was Teardrop by Massive Attack. Not sure about the others.

In Worcester, Eklipse didn't join Kamelot for any songs, but Charlotte from Delain was part of Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife) and it was amazing.

I really enjoy the female-fronted stuff, so I was happy I got to see Delain stateside. Really really friendly band, they hang out at the venue after Kamelot is finished and will pretty much take pictures and sign stuff until everyone is happy.

Correct.... I don't know why they didn't come out for it other than maybe the upstairs stage in the palladium is too damn small for 10 people?

The show sold out easily, I wonder if Kamelot regrets not booking the downstairs stage.
