Full review- Day 2: the Main stage (http://heavymetalcowboysteve.blogspot.com/2013/08/mayhem-fest-jiffy-lube-live-7242013_4.html)

Thrown Into Exile- decent, but nothing distinctive
Huntress- got up really close for Huntress, so they sounded not that great up close
Motionless in White- needs to be more industrial
Attika 7- heard 1 song, not very impressed
Battlecross- we were too far away
Butcher Babies- still too far away, I wanted to see if they are actually any good, more than their looks (tho they have covered up recently)
Scorpion Child- led zepp esuqe
Emmure- no thanks
Born of Osiris- has some interesting guitar, but the songs were kind of hard to get in to.
Job For a Cowboy- better in a smaller, more enclosed venue, but decent
Children of Bodom- badass, wanted more
Machine Head- one of the heaviest of the day
Amon Amarth- one of the best of the day
Mastodon- I got bored, but they sounded fine
Five Finger Death Punch- probably one of the only people who will say they like them and write a review about them (see above)
Rob Zombie- killer show, needed a better setlist.
