That's a pretty lame title for the new album. They finished recording the album in july and is schedule to be released later this year in October. Truth be told, I just hope this means another North American Tour for 2014. Their last album was horrible, and with the producer from the ROOTS era producing this album I'm sure it will reek of cats piss. Dave Lombardo is also making a guest appearance behind the kit for this one. Interesting, the EX-drummer for my favorite metal band of all time is guest drumming for my 2nd favorite Metal band ever. SLAYER AND SEPULTURA MEMBERS JOINING FORCES! Should be interesting. This is what Andreas Kisser had to say about the title of the new album:

"In the movie, a crazy millionaire wants to transform a robot into a real person. That's kind of the opposite of what we live today. More than ever we are robotized, through the worldwide web, Google glasses, chips under our skins and the globalized slavery our society suffers nowadays. The phrase points to the heart as being the human factor who keeps a man, a man, not a robot. The heart beats with freedom of choice, we have to think by ourselves to create a real world, not a matrix?"

Oh yeah, and the album will feature a DEATH cover. "Zombie Ritual" :rocker:

Still won't change the fact that this album will probably reek of cats piss, I'm just crossing my fingers in hopes of another U.S tour for 2014. :snivel:

I didn't loathe their last album but I didn't really like it. Still looking forward to checking this out.

The last album was just "meh" for me. Some good songs and some bad ones, I'd say it was 50/50. But the covers were godawful, they dragged it down a few points.

The Prodigy one was definitely shit. I'm indifferent to the other one because it's Ministry, so was already shit ;)

A Metropolis quote for an album title, I can dig it! Looking forward to it, Sepultura are actually releasing interesting records these days, whereas Soulfly are off the deep end entirely.

The Prodigy one was definitely shit.So you're into The Prodigy, then? I mean, they're British, so I guess they get a few points by default in your book (:finger:), but I didn't think you liked their style of music. If so, good on ya!

The Ministry cover was okay but was a note for note reproduction. The Prodigy one was so bad that I never finished it.

The last Soulfly album was the best thing anyone involved in Sepultura/Soulfly has done in years.

Yeah i agree Enslaved kicked major ass. Much better than anything Sepultura has done since Chaos AD...Although I thought Kairos and Dante were pretty decent albums...

Soulfly's previous albums like Conquer and Dark Ages destroy any Derrick Green era Sepultura. I don't know why people still talk shit on Soulfly as if they're still a nu-metal band.

Because no one gave anything a real chance after the third album. Dark Ages was solid and Conquer was as well. Both brought back that more thrashy/Groove oriented Chaos AD sound and I loved it. haters gonna hate.

That's a really nice cover. I don't care for newer Sepultura so I think the cover will be my favorite part of the album. It'll take a strong lead single for me to buy it. Kairos had a strong lead single (the title track) and the rest of the album wasn't too great. Bt that's my opinion. A lot of people seemed to like that album.

I liked it. More then I liked the last song released by Soulfly.

No.

The vocals kill this incarnation, besides, they should start to fucking act like adults, especially Kisser, and reunite.

I don't like Roots either btw, and yes, I do think Chaos is good.

It is better than the new Soulfly but it still gets a "meh" from me.

Haven't heard that one yet, but it looks like a big step down from Enslaved.

Album leaked.

I like it, but I never had any attachment to Sepultura. I don't care at all that the Cavaleras aren't in the band.

But lol at hyping up the drum off with Dave Lombardo then putting it as a hidden track at the end of the album after 20 mins of silence. Unless that's just a random drum part
