Source is a bootleg (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=457492&page=0#startcomments) of the show. I've heard it and Todd sounds super amazing as usual! I so badly hope they come here on their upcoming main tour for the album. They said they rehearsed all of the songs for it so hopefully that means they'll play all of it! Which wouldn't be too hard to do and have enough other songs since it's on the shorter side.

If they are only doing three new songs, why the hell would they pick Fallout? It's an ok tune but there's plenty better to represent the new album with.

Because it was officially released as a single with a music video.

That's a killer setlist, but yeah, I think they should be playing 'Spore', 'In This Light', or 'A World Without' instead of 'Fallout'.

Are we overlooking the fact that Redemption is the worst song on the new album and they should be playing absolutely anything instead of it?

The rest of that setlist has convinced me to see them instead of Onslaught though.

Really? You would think the record company would actually want to sell a few copies of the album. Fallout certainly isn't the song to do that. Don't know why In This Light wasn't released as a single/video instead?

That's a great set, but agree with everyone on Fallout, and it needs Another Rainy Night (Without You).

I do agree that Fallout is the weakest song on the album. Spore should have been the first single to start off with a good rocker followed by In This Light or Open Road.

Also, here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dfbup0KZoyk) is pretty good quality footage of the full show.

Am I the only one who really likes Fallout? Damn.

And here's the thing- Queensryche have been trying super hard to emphasize their early years. They were playing 5 songs from The Warning before the new album came out after all, and even the Rising West shows had no Empire songs played. It's obvious that the Empire songs are tacked on just to make the mainstream fans happy. Another Rainy Night is probably one of their most blatantly commercial songs ever, playing it would go against this current lineup's supposed "mission statement" or whatever.

Yeah, but it's the only good song on Empire...

Besides 'Anybody Listening?', I assume you mean?

I like Fallout, so you're not alone.

When I saw this lineup a couple months ago I definitely got the feeling that the Empire songs were "tacked on", especially Jet City Woman. I could care if I ever hear that song ever again.

And Silent Lucidity and Jet City Woman don't go against that statement?

This.

I will take Another Rainy Night over both of those any day of the week.

Is it wrong to say Jet City Woman is my favorite Queensryche song? :eyes:

I still enjoy that song a lot as well. In fact, the only song on Empire I don't like is Della Brown. It bores the hell out of me.
