After watching the Tigers crush the Indians yesterday afternoon, I headed over to the House of Blues to catch the show. It was completely sold out, and the place was beyond packed.

Affiance played first, and they were an excellent opener. Their hometown crowd was really into them.

The Word Alive were OK. They did their As I Lay Dying cover again, which was cool. I've seen them live 5x now in just a few months, so they're getting kind of old to me.

Next was Darkest Hour. I've seen them 6x now, and as always they were heavy as hell. They were excellent.

Miss May I came up next. I've seen them 4x now. I was never a huge fan, but they killed it at this show. The crowd LOVED em, and I thought they were pretty good, too.

Killswitch Engage headlined. Another excellent set from them w/ a mix from their entire catalog. The crowd sang along super-loud to "Arms of Sorrow." I particularly enjoyed hearing "Vide Infra." I was street teaming at this show, but I heard the last few songs from outside.
