While browsing Facebook this afternoon, I saw that Emo's posted an August 2nd date on Facebook for Pentagram showing up in Texas. About five minutes later, I saw a post from Wolverinekills with three more dates, so I'm assuming a US tour (despite there being no gap between Texas and Virginia - flying, perhaps?) is in the works.

The dates so far:

07/27 Clinton, MY – Farmageddon Fest
08/02 Austin, TX – Emo’s
08/03 Springfield, VA – Empire
08/04 Philadelphia, PA – Underground Arts

They killed at MDF. Bobby is quite a character. I remember some people asking if he was high on stage. If you've seen that documentary on him, if Bobby Liebling is on any kind of drugs, he's probably not going to be physically able to go on stage :P

Hoping for something closer. They're one of the few bands left on my bucket list.

Depending on the final dates, I may go see them and Mayhem Fest back to back. If not...fuckin a, I'll hate myself a little bit for it, but at least I'll go see Pentagram.

I'm bummed about no Victor Griffin, but apparently the new dude is quite good, so I'll definitely go see them if they drop by.

Still though, watching Victor and Bobby play Relentless at Power of the Riff 2011.... HEAVIER THAN TIME!

Victor is what I liked about Pentagram, but if this comes within range of me, I should probably go...I feel like each chance could be the last one. And their show I did see in 2010 was, I think, my #1 for that year.

I'll def come down for the Austin show. Will make 2 weekends in a row for me; The Sword/Black Sabbath in Austin the weekend before.

Seen them three times and they killed it every time. All with Victor though; haven't seen them with the new guy.

Wow from Austin, TX to Springfield, VA in one day? I don't see how they're going to pull that kind of traveling off unless they're wanting to arrive at the venue later than normal.

New guy was surprisingly good at MDF. I was kind of skeptical going in, but I thought he did a great job.

They have these things called "airplanes"...

I got that. Didn't think they're big enough to go from date to date by plane.

If the promoter/venue pays for it, they are. I'm sure there's some backline but I have a feeling they will play with a lot of local/house equipment.
