I called this a year ago.

Too bad they didn't....y'know...announce it or anything.

Surprise afternoon performance of Kill 'Em All in its entirety under the secret name "DeHaan" (the last name of the star of Metallica's upcoming "Through The Never" movie)

1. Hit The Lights
2. The Four Horsemen
3. Motorbreath
4. Jump In The Fire
5. (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth
6. Whiplash
7. Phantom Lord
8. No Remorse
9. Seek & Destroy
10. Metal Militia

Metallica concert where Seek & Destroy isn't the closer. I'll always remember where I was at when I first heard about this.

Kill 'Em All in full... My neck would be sore as fuck the next day.

That would be pretty sweet (though Seek & Destroy would suck if they still detune it the way they do).

OMG!!! So now they've done Kill, Ride, Puppets, and Black all the way through! Have they ever done Justice as well?

Justice is the only one of Metallica's first 5 albums that hasn't had all its songs performed live at least once.

Maybe they'll do it the second day as a secret thing for it's anniversary.

I would kill to see this. My 2nd favorite Metallica album, right behind Ride the Lightning. Too cool that they played it.

I was there, everyone seemed to know it was going down. I left after Motorbreath to go see Tomahawk.

sucks they had their set run over anyone, let alone a band the caliber of tomahawk. was there like 5 people watching them?

Yeah, that's a bit strange.

Tomahawk started just after Metallica finished Whiplash, they shut down the other stages for the first 30 minutes or so of Metallica's set so they didn't fuck anyone over too badly. There was still a good crowd for Tomahawk, the stages were adjacent so you could still see and hear Metallica until Tomahawk started playing.

Does anybody know the setlists yesterday for Dead Sara, Silversun Pickups, or Tomahawk? Those are three bands I like whose setlists haven't surfaced yet.

The video is awesome with great sound

Very cool they did KEA in full, I had feeling they would do it at Orion, but I thought they would do it in their headling set

So boys, all you got left is AJFA...you can do it, all you need to re-learn is Frayed Ends!

Just watched the whole concert, I almost jazzed when they played the first solo in the four horseman....out all the metallica performances of the four horseman (probably seen 20 in all including DVD/concerts/youtube clips) I have never seen/heard the part of that song played live.....

Never understood why? Fucking love playing that riff and solo on the guitar and hearing, IMO one of the best part of the songs.

Is it because it was not in the original recording on mechanix on the metal up your ass demo tape and they wanted to change it as it was heavly influenced by mustaine?

Could be talking utter bull crap....but been a metallica fan for almost 15 years, but never understood this!

Did anybody get the setlists for Silversun Pickups and Tomahawk? They're still incomplete on setlist.fm, hoping someone did.
