I don't if there is a thread for this already or not, so if there is I apologize, and I didnt know if this would fit in movies so I put it here, but feel free to move it if it needs to be moved.

TV shows can be off or on the air, it doesn't matter.

Here's some of my favorites:

Full House
Dukes Of Hazard
Gilligan's Island
Revolution
Wizards Of Waverly Place (that's right, I watch this show, got a problem with that?)

I think it's obvious that I don't watch a lot of TV shows, but I'm the type of guy that watches nothing but one show for like months then switches to another one.

I pretty much stopped watching TV about ten years ago. My all-time favorites are the standards: the Simpsons, Seinfeld, Trailer Park Boys, MOST EXTREME ELIMINATION CHALLENGE, pro-wrestling, Oz.

Now I like watching professional football, NFL (and CFL when it gets started before the NFL starts up). Game of Thrones, but I usually wait for the whole season to be done and watch it in one or two nights. And the Amazing Race, that's one show I like. Those are really the only shows I make time for every week. ANd they're not on very often either, only four or five months out of the year.

I have a three year old and a one year old, so I watch a lot of Toopie and Binoo, Team Umizoomi, Thomas the Tank Engine, Octonauts, Bubble Guppies, etc.

Awesome! I love Marty! I'm currently on a TV break to catch up on my reading, went through every episode of Breaking Bad, way too much time spent in front of a screen for my liking haha!

Can't wait for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Joss and TV just works too dam well.

Save yourself some time and don't bother with Dollhouse. It was a good idea but the story becomes such a convoluted clusterfuck that you get headaches just trying to make sense of everything. Buffy The Vampire Slayer is still the crown jewel in Joss Whedon's career as far as i'm concerned.

As for my favorites:

Scrubs
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Battlestar Galactica (2003 reboot)
Seinfeld
Dexter
Cheers
Married With Children
Night Court
The Sopranos
Doctor Who (2005 reboot)
Arrested Development
Family Guy
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
The Shield
Psych
Curb Your Enthusiasm

I like these shows to. Did you like the second season of American Horror Story? I thought it started off well but by the last handful of episodes it became a complete mess and I found myself looking forward to the season just ending so the embarrassment could just stop for the show. I love the first season though.

As for Game Of Thrones, I find I would like it more if there weren't so many slower, nothing moments in it. I get that they like to do slow build ups to the major stories but I find that there are many episodes where I can fast forward through half of it and still not miss anything important. Also, there are too many characters to keep track of and I find myself only caring about a handful of them. Finally, we need to see more of the White Walkers dammit!!

Season 2 of AHS was a big let down in the dying episodes alright. I feel they had taken the story too far and didn't know how to end it. Great characters though!

Game of Thrones is fighting an uphill battle this season, the story-lines are only getting more complicated, they're obviously having a hard time representing that on screen.

I loved season 2 of American Horror Story. I thought it was substantially better than the 1st season in every possible aspect and I had no beef with how it ended (it wasn't flawless, but it worked.) Season 1 I felt ended on a really weak note and the finale was downright embarrassing and didn't fit the tone of the rest of the season. I have a feeling next season will be even better with the stellar cast and the plot centered around witches in New Orleans.

I'm with you on Game of Thrones. The seemingly endless subplots and slow sections are the reason it's not one of my absolute favorite shows. The strength of certain story arcs are the reason I enjoy it so much, but there is definitely too much going on at times and a fair amount of boring characters I could do without.

I like S1 of Game of Thrones but somewhere in S2 I took too long of a break between episodes and didn't know who anyone was or what their motivations were anymore. Too fucking big of a cast.

Dude, I'm a hardcore glam metal fan, I'm pretty sure it's been established that I'm really different from most of the people here.My opinion for music is still the same for TV shows, if you don't like it I don't care, and insulting me isn't going to change my opinion.

Sweet! This should be interesting, this might mean Monroe doesn't die on the final episode or someone else becomes a threat.
