setlist.fm is off on the Pig Destroyer set, as she did sing two songs with them but at different times.

Not sure of their set but Pelican were awesome. Although I rarely listen to them anymore I've been wanting to see them for years. I solved the clash with Rotten Sound by catching them in Brooklyn the other night. Their entire set slayed and the two new songs sounded nice. First band I've ever seen that sold their own coffee at the merch table.

^ Right on.

I have the Pelican set. Will post it when I get home. Also have PxDx and Repulsion, so will confirm those too. Instead of hocking coffee, Pelican should simply get some shirts bigger than "skinny hipster large". I keep giving them shit about that every time I see them.

I caught the 2nd Pelican song on camera that'll I upload most likely when I get back to the hotel tonight. Suddenly the entire hotel is up so the wifi is slow.

I'm surprised Carcass didn't debut a new song :(

I've been watching some videos that have been uploaded on YouTube. Benediction sounded SO RAD.

I am counting on you guys to yell "PANTURRRUHHH!!!" during Down's set, whenever they play :)

Evoken definately played "the extrinsic divide" second. I know because I became extremely joyful and giddy.

I have the Pelican set. Will post it when I get home.Sorry - got busy playing Mr. Mom.

PELICAN
The Creeper
Lathe Biosas
Ephemeral
Fistfighters (new) :rocker:
Lost in the Headlights
[untitled] (new) :rocker:
Strung Up from the Sky
Dead Between the Walls :bricks:

Interesting observation: they played nothing from "The Fire in Our Throats..." or earlier, and yet it still felt like a "classic" Pelican set to me. The lesson in this, perhaps, is that those who have said that they have gotten less heavy in recent times is full of shit. This set was awesome, heavy, and had heads banging from start to finish. Pelican can pretty much do no wrong when it comes to playing live. :bliss:

Seriously though, Pig Destroyer bringing out Kat for two songs was worth the trip alone. I was hoping they would since they brought her out at their last Maryland show but wasn't sure. I'm not big on Pig Destroyer but Agoraphobic is one of my favorite bands, with Kat being one of my favorite vocalists. #2dope

Lol my clueless friend thinks that they played Agoraphobic songs because he's a self proclaimed "big fan" of both bands

Yeah, I figured somebody would disrespect Pelican's sincere request to keep that off the Interwebs. I have videos of both new songs, but I'm not posting them until the new album drops, out of respect for the band's wishes.

EDIT: I wish I could, though, because they both fucking rock. :rocker:

Did they really say that? I wouldn't have uploaded it if I caught that.
