Sorry if this has been posted already.

No good can come of this.

The ‘Crawling’ singer appeared alongside the group in a surprise performance at KROQ's annual Weenie Roast on Saturday.

A) I'm not sure what the fuck the Daily News is saying here; are they saying Chester is in a band called Crawling, are they using it as a verb to describe him what the hell

B) Not a fan of STP and I stopped following LP after 2004, but I feel like the vocal styles of Scott and Chester are way different, and while I think Chester is a great vocalist, I can't see him singing STP stuff. Maybe I'm out of touch?

Seriously, you made my ears bleed just reminding me of that song.

I do not blame STP for doing this, but replacing Weiland is tough.

Did anyone see STP when they reformed? Was it the same situation as VR? i.e. Weiland was the only one worth watching?

Think Chester is a good vocalist, problem is Linkin Park hasn't put out a good album in 10 years. And their last album was one of the WORST things I've ever listened to.

And while I love STP's first 3 albums, everything they've put out since has been straight t-rash. Just my opinion, though.

Agreed all round on LP. I still enjoy Hybrid Theory and especially Meteora, but everything else has been horrible.

But only the first three STP albums? 'No. 4' is excellent; easily better than 'Tiny Music...'.

Could never get into it. It's better than the last 2 albums, but I just can't get into it.

I saw them twice. Scott lip synced both times, I'm totally serious.

Wow. That's bad. Had no idea they did that.

Remember the last time the other three guys tried to continue without Weiland? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk_Show_(band))

I do.. I have that CD. It wasn't too bad. I think they'll actually get heavier without Scott.

You can check out the new song here.

They had me fooled . I saw them at a festival a few years back with Sublime and Rome and some other bands. I was like whoa, how does Scott sing so loud and clear on some of these choruses? I was really impressed. Then a few years back a you tube video came out where he fell into the crowd, lost his mic, and you could still hear him singing. I actually didn't see the video, but they were talking about it on Howard Stern. I was like, well, that explains it. So anyways I had already bought tickets to see them in L.A. Once you know and you really listen, it is pretty obvious. At the L.A show he was perfect all night, you could really tell he wasn't actually singing. Like I said they pull it off well, had me fooled the first time.

Chester's singing is the reason I love LP so much and I'm just loving the songs that are here (http://www.blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=190126). I can't wait to hear a full album with him on vocals!

I had no idea they did that album.

I remember hearing it on the radio very sparingly and remember not being too impressed.

I find the new studio song sounds ok, but he was off key on the live hits. Doesn't have the lower range Weiland has.

An EP is coming out on October 8th (http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/stone-temple-pilots-featuring-chester-bennington-new-ep-title-release-date-cover-artwork/). I can't wait to hear it!
