This was day 2 of the Jamboree Fest, with a much better lineup than day 1, especially since the main band on day 1 got the shaft. Also, after what happened on day 1 of the event, there was ZERO security entering the venue. No pat-downs, even. WOW! Un fuckin' believable. On top of that, only the last few bands of the day get to play more than 20-25 minute sets. Two thumbs way down on the Jamboree. I don't think I'll be returning next year.

Hail To The King - Really solid band from Dayton, OH.

Erra - They were AMAZING! I bought their CD. Never heard of 'em before. At the end of their set they let the crowd choose between the songs "Seven" & "Pattern Interrupt." They chose "Seven." That was cool of the band to do that.

Arson Our Savior - Solid local band. Give 'em a listen.

Glass Cloud - These guys could seriously jam!

The Contortionist - Incredible band that absolutely stole the show.

The Contortionist setlist
Geocentric Confusion

Watch This Burn - They were pretty cool.

The Holy Guile - They were decent.

Within The Ruins - I think this was at least my 6th time seeing them/ I was never a huge fan, but they were one of the best bands of the day. Good stuff!

After The Burial - Probably the main reason I went. Sadly they only got 20 minutes, but they made it count. The new song was killer as well. Can't wait for a new album & tour.

After The Burial setlist
My Frailty
A Wolf Amongst Ravens (new song)
Your Troubles Will Cease & Fortune Will Smile Upon You

Sworn In - I'd never heard of these guys. Their music was nothing special, and they were a little over the top w/ their matching black suites, super-angry faces, and cliches about how pissed off they are and whatnot, but they seriously had the craziest crowd of the whole weekend w/ their 20-min set. They absolutely DESTROYED. They're touring w/ Hundredth & For The Fallen Dreams next month, so I'll see them again.

Job For a Cowboy - They were OK.

Terror - These guys always tear it up. They're seriously one of the best live bands I've ever seen.

Terror setlist
Hard Lessons
Keep Your Mouth Shut
Stick Tight
Lowest of the Low
Out of My Face
Live By the Code
Spit My Rage
You're Caught
One With the Underdogs
Keepers of the Faith

This Is Hell - My 3rd time seeing them, and just like Within The Ruins, I was never a big fan. Also just like Within The Ruins, they were one of the best bands of the day.

Miss May I - This was my 2nd time seeing them, and they were really good. I'll definitely see them this summer w/ As I Lay Dying & Killswitch Engage.

Hatebreed - The crowd went off for them, and they are always amazing live, but the setlist was nothing special. No real surprises or deep cuts. They dedicated "Last Breath" to Chi Cheng. They dedicated "To The Threshold" to the Detroit diehards and "Defeatist" to everyone that was at the Harpo's DVD shoot a few years ago. Yeah! I also LOVE the song "Honor Never Dies" off of their new CD.

Hatebreed setlist
