Not a Kid Rock fan, but he toured with Bon Jovi a few years back who I'm a fan of.

I saw your Offspring review from last year though and I saw them in Milwaukee three days after the Columbus show and I totally agree not including Gone Away in the set was mind-boggling.

"Kid Rock don't come from where I come from:
Yeah, it's true, he's a Yank, he ain't no son of Hank:
If you even thought so, god-damn, you're fucking dumb. " - Hank III

Thanks for reading....and yeah omitting Gone Away from an Offspring set is blasphemous!! :)

Kid Rock is still something? Wow... and I really don't recognize any of those songs. Did he have any more albums after...umm.... that one he put out after "The History of Rock"???

I saw Kid Rock for the Born Free album a couple years back and it was non stop entertainment. Kid really put on a great show and even the stage setup was cool to look at. Id see him again for sure!

I just assumed he evaporated by now since nobody gives a shit about him anymore.

He's country now. I guess the next genre on his list that he hasn't attempted yet is smooth jazz...

Co-headlining tour with Kenny G? A tour to end all tours. :rocker:

I agree with kalfitegrdan tho... has Kid Rock had any commercial success in the last... what... 10 years? Sure, Sorcery hasn't, but they aren't a radio rock band either.
...this thread makes me want to listen to Devil Without a Cause now :eyes:

Kid Rock commercial success in the past 10 years:

2003 Kid Rock Platinum
2007 Rock N Roll Jesus 3X Platinum
2010 Born Free Platinum
2012 Rebel Soul Gold

Sounds pretty successful AND relevant to me....:horns:

Successful? Sure.

Relevant? On a heavy metal website? Nah bro.

Girls' Generation for the win!

On another note, Kid Rock rules. I second the person who said his shows are non-stop entertainment.

I'd consider myself a Kid Rock fan and his last few cd's all had a few good tracks. That being said his new cd is absolute country junk bullshit and he's totally sold out. I'm sure he still brings it live but hearing a bunch of retarded country crap mixed in with 5 or 6 songs I love isn't my idea of a good time.

I can only imagine the old school Kid Rock fans who love Rebel standing with their arms crossed for more than half of the show... Would it kill him to do a Cocky/Fuck you Blind medley or something cool rather than the whole new crap cd?
