HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK YES. I'm so there for the Whisky date!

The sad thing is that this tour is probably gonna have shitty turnouts all around. FW haven't really done anything in a long time.

Talk about announcing it right before the shows. >_>

CT date is a Friday night. Might go if I'm working by then.

True, but announcing the tour this far in advance might help with that. It might give some fans who have lost touch with the band more time to hear about the tour. They've been out of it for awhile now, so the shows might not get that good of a tunrout no matter how long in advance they announce it. Still, it's not a bad idea to announce the dates as early as possible.

Also, I love that I was actually able to open up a thread about a tour and see all the dates in the first post. That hasn't been happening too much on here lately.

December 7th! :D Never thought I would be able to see these guys with how often they tour the US, particularly the desert. Will definitely be there.

Since I know they won't add a date in MN, I will be doing everything in my power to be there at Mojoe's

I'm not a big FW fan and it's not a great night, but I'd like to see this.

I may try to hit up Louisville or Cleveland. Fates is great live, although Ray sounds like crap a lot of the time.

I think his voice is still great, but it just doesn't fit the classic material anymore. He sounded badass singing Die By the Sword at the Armored Saint show a few months ago.

All over this like stink on shit. Can't fucking wait.

Haven't seen them since ProgPower '09.

I agree Ray Alder isn't always spot on, but he's good more times than he's bad. Sometimes it just seems he doesn't care.

Seen him once with Redemption and twice with Fates. So far the Redemption performance was the best.

I'll be hitting up the Toronto date for sure!

I have seen Fates open a couple of times years ago but I have never seen them headline so I am definitely thrilled with this news.
