While I like Gama bomb, are they big enough to headline?

This will probably be at the Vex in LA. Never been to that venue before, hope it's alright. Also, why is Fueled by Fire still around?

Artillery's gotta be headlining this. Seriously hoping this hits Chicago.

I'm pretty sure Gama Bomb will play last every show. Ive know about this tour for a whole now and thier name was listed first on the previous flyer, plus the two dates that have been released have them at the top of the bill.

Damn, well that's some bullshit. I like Gama Bomb but Artillery are fucking legends (to me, at least). You don't fuck with By Inheritance.

I just hope I'll be able to actually get to whatever venue they end up playing. If it's at the Vex I might be screwed :(

I wouldn't mind seeing Artillery again. I just wish they'd play more than 2 songs from By Inheritance.

Yup, this is the best lineup of the year so far (except maybe Helloween/Gamma Ray). If this comes within 8 hours of me, I will probably travel to see it because I should have most of that time off.

I LOVE Gama Bomb, Bonded By Blood, and By Inheritance, so this is a no brainer. Fueled by Fire and the other Artillery albums are cool as well.

What I love about this lineup is that it isn't lined with garbage. Four thrash bands. Like all of them or not, it is a night of pure thrash and is going to be amazing :D

The Vex seems to be sucking up all the metal shows right now, so I'm betting it will be there.

Also, it looks like Artillery is playing 60 minutes based on a Facebook post from the promoter of the Toronto show. It is a co-headliner.

Aug 24 is a Saturday, so there's a very strong possibility that I'll be at be Oakland date instead of the LA date. Oakland should treat Artillery real well, I'm stoked!

Artillery should just do the tour. They don't need Gama Bomb. No one needs Gama Bomb.

They said they're planning for November. Either way, I'm going to return my ticket because the chances of me making a November show are much smaller than the original date planned. Not to mention that the tickets should cost less if it is Artillery by themselves (though I have the feeling they won't be any less).

I was really looking forward to catching Artillery right before I see the all mighty SABBATH. Well, looks like no shows for me until the end of August. :(

Statement from Gama Bomb:

We regret to announce that, due to events beyond our control, we've been forced to cancel our upcoming tour of the USA and Canada.

A series of disasters around our visa applications have put us in a position where we simply can't make the tour happen.

We're gutted, and we want to apologise to everyone who's bought tickets or made plans to come see us.
On the upside we're already discussing how and when to make a US tour work (for real this time), and will be back Stateside soon.

GAMA BOMB

How much were tickets?

$22.50 before fees, and $27.75 after. It was pretty cheap in the first place (though it looks like it was only $15 for some of the US shows), which is why I know it won't drop if Artillery comes on their own, but logically, if you have one less headliner, it should cost less.

Logically, yes. But that's cheap enough it's still totally worth it for Artillery and shit support. If the full tour had been coming here, at that price, I'd have paid it and turned up for Artillery anyway.
