I'll write up a review later. Awesome free day show. Shorter sets all around, but that's SXSW for ya. Hatred Surge, Freedom Hawk, Kadavar, Ancient VVisdom, Baptists, Royal Thunder, Mammoth Grinder and Iron Lung all played this show too.

I had a great time, you forgot that clutch played flannery after crucial. I got there right before kadavar. Way to much traffic heading up from SA, or I would have been there 30-45 minutes earlier. The new Clutch songs sound amazing live.

Oh yeah, how could I forget that?

Did you go to anything at night?

Nah, I was interested in the pumpkins/sword show, but my friend said it wouldn't really be possible to get in so I headed back to SA.

Gravel Road as an opener? I think that's the first time I've seen that.

All of them except Royal Thunder, who I had seen twice earlier in the week.

They opened with that in Pittsburgh a few years ago. It was actually one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
