I don't believe that Cooper and Manson fans are the same crowd at all. I know they're both shock rock but it's kind of a strange pairing when you look at the fan bases.

I don't think its all that far off. I could very well see a father and son (for example) both going where the father is there for Alice & son for Manson. I think its a pretty smart idea. Surprised it didn't happen sooner in all honesty.

I'm hitting the Reading show for sure. I haven't seen Alice since 1986. And Manson is a good opener. 2 good performers at 1 show.

The way Manson is performing right now... your mind will be changed.

Saw him in November opening for Zombie and even the die-hard Manson fans thought he was shit. Same story for the whole tour.

He started out strong and then ran out of gas quickly. I saw the 2nd show of his solo tour last April in Hampton Beach. That was a good show. I wouldn't call his performance at the Twins of Evil show I saw "shit", but it was definitely lackluster.

I saw him a few days before Halloween and thought he was okay. Maybe it's because the only other time I've seen him live was on the 2009 Mayhem Fest where he literally couldn't perform without taking hits of oxygen in the middle of every song, but it was far better than I expected. I also think he knows the fans are disappointed, so I'm hoping Alice will bring out the best in him for this tour.

This is a great idea for a tour...in 1998. Seriously, Rob Zombie/Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie/Manson, now Manson/Cooper all happening way too late. I know AC was "old" in the 90s too but it would still make more sense then.

Now i'm waiting for the inevitable Marilyn Manson/Eminem tour in 2020 titled "We scared suburban white mothers 20 years ago."

June 20th at Meadowbrook in Gilford, New Hampshire was just confirmed this morning.

The good news: Alice goes on last.

The better news: I entered to win a pair of tickets last week. Aaaaaaaaand I won them! The best news an unemployed dude with a concert addiction could ask for.

The problem is the venues and other web pages leak these dates before the official announcement takes place. It seems just about every tour thread on here has that happening now. I miss the days when we got the whole itinerary in the opening post and you didn't have to look three or four pages in before you found it.

Pure speculation on my part but Gwar are playing some of the same states in April that the Cooper/Manson tour are going to(at least the ones that have leaked out) so I (sadly) don't think that Gwar will be opening the whole tour but I really hope I'm wrong.

I thought Cooper was one of those people who hit just about everywhere when he tours. He does tend to play some out of the way places to. So, there's still a good chance that whoever isn't getting a show this summer may still get one. Whenever he starts a new tour, Alice seems to take it on the road for a good year or two before he stops. Look how many shows he did on the Theater Of Death and No More Mr. Nice Guy tours.

So I just decided "fuck it, I'll go to whichever shitsville village Alice's only UK show of the year is in".

Turns out not only is it a stupid show to be playing in the first place (Fairport Convention's curated folk festival), but his fans can't even get tickets. Apparently because the place is so fucking tiny, and the roads are so small, if they sold day tickets for the Thursday and Friday the area wouldn't be able to cope with the traffic. And as he's playing Thursday, the only option for Alice Cooper fans is to pay 110 for a three-day ticket.
