The Contortionist opened the show. I've been trying to find their set list for the show, but to no avail. They weren't bad at all; I really thought they were out of place at times being the "clean" choruses (Plus I could barely hear him, and I was 2 people from the front).

Dying Fetus next. Awesome. I was very excited to see these guys; their music is brutal and have been one of my "bands to see live" list for awhile. I honestly expected more from the crowd. I'm forgetting though that DF are a bit "older" and the crowd seemed young-ish. Very good live. Schematics was their best one. Once again though, need the set list for them.

Shadows Fall were A LOT better the second time around. I saw them at Ozzfest 2005 and just got into the band. The lead singer (Brian?) had the long dreads then but kinda walked back and forth (Tinley Park is a big stage though). This time, he got the crowd into it. During the second song, he front flipped from the stage into the crowd and surfed. Pretty much a highlight of the whole night.

Shadows Fall set list (if it's wrong, let me know):
The Light That Blinds
The Idiot Box
Weight of the World
King of Nothing
Still I Rise
The Power of I and I (Best song I thought)
Fire From the Sky
Thoughts Without Words
Divide and Conquer
War (Bob Marley cover)

Hatebreed was last and like always, had a great show. Lots of energy; Jasta is a good stage performer. Lots of surfing and the entire venue was a giant mosh at multiple points of their hour set.

Hatebreed set list:
Came out to the Team America theme song (AMERICA! F&*k Yeah!)
To the Threshold
Put it to the Torch
Tear it Down
Everyone Bleeds Now
In Ashes they Shall Reap
Honor Never Dies
Before Dishonor
Burn the Lies
Empty Promises
Last Breath
Proven
Perseverance
A Call for Blood
Hollow Ground
Doomsayer
Live For This
As Diehard as They Come
Defeatist
Smash Your Enemies
I Will Be Heard
Destroy Everything

The show was awesome; Mojoes in Joliet is a VERY small venue. Perfect for any metal show.

I was at this show. The pits for Dying Fetus and Hatebreed weren't just crazy but violent. Hatebreed was really just one giant pit.

The Contortionist was really out of place and really everyone that was around me looked extremely bored. I ended up standing at the bar watching the blackhawks game with about 50 other people.

I'm very surprised that Hatebreed are still only playing two songs off the new album. Maybe for NEMHF, they'll play more since they are more "crowd oriented".

That is strange. However, I'm not really heartbroken. I've given the new album several chances now, and I don't think it's anything spectacular. Plenty of good tracks, but not outstanding.

They had the new album for $10.

I mean at our show the album wasn't even out so playing songs most people haven't heard isn't a great thing.
