As usual, my attendance is gonna depend on how bad school crap is that night. The fact that both shows are in the opposite end of LA on weeknights isn't too enticing either. I'd love to see the first night though. Does anyone know if Michio is gonna join the band again on this tour?

The only times Boris has performed around here they've been at the Granada and they've pulled big numbers each time. Fucking japs.

Oh. Every KC concert downfall I just always seem to find it easier to blame it on that but yea I forgot they usually do Granada. Somehow next time Maiden tours NA and they skip KC again I will also blame it on the Beaumont, logic be damned!!!!

Rubber Gloves in Denton? such a small venue, this would be an incredible place to see Boris.

Especially b/c the band found the owner's ear in Marfa and then wrote a song ("Floorshaker") about it. Said ear is in a jar in formaldehyde behind the bar.

Boris have now finalized all the opening bands for their upcoming US Tour that include their special series of residency shows. Just announced they will also play in Mexico City at Aural Festival on May 16th in addition to their play at Austin Psych Fest on April 27th. The residency shows, billed as “from the past, the present and through to the future” features Boris playing 2 consecutive nights in each city. For the first night, the band will perform its all-time classics along with many new songs never before played in the US. The second night’s set features most of Boris’ cult classic album Flood along with a noise/drone/experimental set. On the additional one-off dates Boris will combine all-time classics with part of Flood and other songs’ US debut. Boris will once again perform in their classic trio lineup without any support musicians. All supports are now listed below for each night.

Ha, I love how the SF shows have Deafheaven and Bosse de Nage opening on different nights. I guess Boris dug their split from a few months back!
