Greek extreme metal veterans ROTTING CHRIST will release their eleventh full-length studio album, "Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy" ("Do What Thou Wilt"), on March 5, 2013 (four days earlier in Europe) via Season Of Mist. The band spent more than four months at Deva Soundz studios in Athens crafting what it says "may be its darkest and more mystical and occult outcome ever." The CD was mixed by Jens Borgen (AMON AMARTH, PARADISE LOST, KATATONIA, OPETH) at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden.

"Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy" track listing:

In Yumen-Xibalba
P'unchaw kachun- Tuta kachun
Grandis Spiritus Diavolos
Κατά τον Δαίμονα του Ἐαυτοῦ
Cine iubeşte şi lasă
Iwa Voodoo
Ahura Mazdā-Aŋra Mainiuu
Χ ξ ς’

The album will be made available as jewel case CD, double gatefold LP and limited-edition digibox, including a digipak CD with bonus track "Welcome To Hel", a pendant in velvet bag and a flag.

In a recent interview with RockOverdose.gr, ROTTING CHRIST mainman Sakis Tolis stated about the band's new CD, "The album was recorded entirely by me, except, of course, the drums which were taken care of by my brother."

Cover art is horrible, but I'm still looking forward to this.

Their last album was sick. Hoping for the same on this one.

I really don't have much hope for this album. I'll still give it a chance though.

Here's a link to two new songs, which I can only imagine are the albums intro and first song. FUCKING MINT!!!!

The thing I love about Rotting Christ's newer stuff is it's simple and catchy. I was holding my guitar while I listened to this and believe me; it's simple. Just tune down 2.5 steps to B.

I don't know if "Χ ξ ς’" is supposed to be read "Chi Xi Sigma" or if it stands for something deeper in meaning. Oh well, that's what I get for learning their alphabet.

Anyway, really looking forward to the album! I hope they pass through Austin again, since I missed them the last time they came through... :bouville:

Another new song (http://www.rockhard.de/megazine/praesentationen/rotting-christ-kata-ton-demona-eaftou.html), and even though the riffs sound excatly like a few other Rotting Christ songs (I'm thinking Aealo, The Sign Of Prime Creation and Enuma Elish) I think it's pretty good, but not as good as the first song they released.

Another new one (http://www.rocking.gr/news/Akouste_apokleistika_sto_Rockinggr_to_neo_tragoudi _twn_Rotting_Christ/15270/), better than the last one, still not as good as the first.
