The 1980's saw many different music types and artists showing up,and every year had some great albums and concerts in them,but which was your favorite?Post your choice here!
Mine would definitely have to be 1988.Because it was a great year for the glam metal genre (my favorite genre),probably being the height of the whole wave,and of course my two favorite albums of all time where released this year as well.

I will say that 88 was a pretty good year, if for no other reason that every subgenre of metal had something great to offer. Either that or 84.

Not sure if you like these or not,but Ratt's "Out Of The Cellar",Bon Jovi's debut,Van Halen's "1984",Savatage's "The Dungeons Are Calling",Europe's "Wings Of Tomorrow",and Dokken's "Tooth & Nail" where also great albums of that year.
