After watching a few videos of the last two dates of the Alive or Just Breathing tour, I have to say this will probably be one of the best concerts I've seen in a while. Jesse Leach seems to be killing it live from these videos, and Alive or Just Breathing is probably the only album I like from Killswitch (sure, theres a song here or there from the others). Just about every song on that album is kickass.

Makes the 4 hour drive to Toledo worth it :finger2:

Sucks I'm gonna miss the show but it's about time they dropped that Holy Diver cover. I'm fucking sick of it

I agree that it's about time Holy Diver got scrapped, but come on...Howard sang the shit out of that song.

See I'd think they'd drop Holy Diver to try and and get away from it.

Sure, Howard sang the shit out of it on the studio version. So would Jesse. But hearing him sing it live twice, he sure as hell didn't.

Jesse was in top form in SF. Absolutely nailed every song.

I do have to say that the set felt pretty short for a headline set. They blew through AoJB really fast, or at least it felt like it. I was expecting a few more songs either before or after they played the record. Jesse mentioned something on Facebook about playing a new song, but apparently not at this show.

Shadows Fall set for anyone who cares:

01. The Light that Blinds
02. The Idiot Box
03. Weight of the World
04. King of Nothing
05. Destroyer of Senses
06. Still I Rise
07. Divide and Conquer
08. War

They had some sound issues, but all in all tore it up. Really good live band. I hadn't seen them in about 10 years. I'd like to see them come back and headline.

Acaro opened and they were pretty good. I had only heard a song or two previously, but I'm going to buy their debut for sure.

them playing AOJB front to back is incredibly awesome, but following up Rise Inside with My Curse and TEOH without even inserting an encore break must be one of the greatest buzzkills ever.

Yeah I'd really like more from As Daylight Dies but I'm not surprised that there isn't much from the self titled. It was a mediocre album with only a few songs that I don't think sold very well.

They could at least put Save Me in. That song is great.

Wasn't this tour advertised as them performing "Alive or Just Breathing" in full? With that being advertised, I'm not surprised by this setlist at all.

Remember that some songs from the Self-titled were recorded for Alive or Just Breathing.. like Vide Infra and Temple From The Within... so technically there was some Self-Titled.

I would like to hear "In the Unblind" though... they rerecorded that one too (you can hear it on one of the AoJB special editions).

Nah Last 2 songs aint special.
Also aside from first 2 albums(self titled and AOJB) KSE aint that great. ADD and Newer Self titled are pretty bad. Hopefully new album turns this band around.

Still cool ass set and nice set from Shadows Fall!

If Shadows Fall is going to do a cover, it should be Bark at the Moon.

set doesn't surprise me too much.

lack of holy diver does surprise me I think comercially it was their biggest hit even though its not their song.

although I've seen both singers perform it, so...

and both sang it well although howard sang it better

Oops.

Sorry, forgot that one existed.

It's odd when a band has two self-titleds.
