Based on his performance on the Europe tour with Zombie, I wouldn't cross the street to see him for free.

Well Manson posted this on facebook last night.

North America: If you were feeling left out during the last tour, expect satisfaction on Monday. For now, here's the first West Coast announcement for 2013: Portland, OR, February 13, Roseland Ballroom.

He put on a decent show with Rob, and he seems to be getting his act together. I'd actually like to see him again. It can't be any worse than the Mayhem shows he did.

Can Manson even fill Roseland?

Shouldn't have a problem selling it out. Capacity is listed at 1,410. Saw him at the Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire this past April. Place holds 2,200 and it sold out in 3 days.

What? Roseland in NYC has a 3,200 capacity

Pollstar had it listed as NYC, but it's actually the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon.

Bit late for that. I saw them opening for Otep (guilty pleasure - plus I wanted to see One-Eyed Doll) in September. The only part of the set that actually got my head banging was their Fuckin' Hostile cover, and even then, that sucked.

For the uninformed, the best way to describe this band (IMO) is "two PG-rated Wendy O'Williams wannabes trying to be In This Moment and describing themselves as something akin to Rockbitch"...or "an extended bathroom break" for the more cynical.

I might go to the Chicago show depending on if I work that night and if I feel like dealing with that shitty venue.

No, if it was 1998, Live Nation wouldn't have existed and prices would be substantially cheaper.

I'll admit that this would be cool in an intimate venue. That said, there's no way in hell I'm paying the $45 ticket, so I'll go if I can get a free ticket by working with the promoters.
