The title confused me. I was like why would they already plan on a tour for winter of 2013.

More likely that they will play with Aggravated Assault, Angry Aryans, Attack, Definite Hate, Final Solution, Force Fed Hate, Fueled by Hate, Hate Crime, Jew Slaughter and White Terror.

I might just go for those 3 opening bands (if true) and leave before Hatebreed

Also this touring lineup makes almost no sense.

The only thing these bands have in common is they can be called metal.

Hatebreed always takes out diverse lineups. Their last U.S tour with Whitechapel and All Shall Perish is the lone exception.

In the early 00's they took out LoG, Shadows Fall, KsE with Jesse on vox, Unearth, Ringworm, Agnostic Front and later on Type O Negative, Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, ASP, etc.

I saw them a while ago with Black Dahlia, Exodus, Napalm Death and Despised Icon. Then a year later with Terror, God Forbid, Evergreen Terrace and The Acacia Strain.

I went to that show.

Yeah, they always have a diverse lineup. I think it's badass that they try to get so many different types of bands on their tours. Everyone gets new crowds. Win, win.

I agree, thats 3 tours now that they have skipped Canada! I know they love to play here. Granted one was the LoG tour and Randy cant enter due to the Czechs but still :bouville:

Jamey told me that they were supposed to do a 2nd leg of the Perseverance Tour in Canada. Really hope we get some dates added later, woulda been good to see this lineup:mad:

I wonder if this is a B market tour.

I mean Hatebreed playing HOB in Nov. that's over double the size of Mojoes and they sold out HOB.

Again, for some reason, bands play Wichita. I guess it's kinda to be expected, with Hatebreed playing in KC a ton over the past few years and Shadows Fall in KC in about a week. Fuck you, Dying Fetus! Damn!

Well for the last year or so, all Scion shows have been on Saturdays. I know the year prior they were on Sundays and the year prior to that they were on Wednesdays. It could be possible, but I wouldn't expect this to be the case, especially on a Friday night in Hollywood.

Gonna have to make a drive for this one. Really, really small venues tho. They are gonna be packed.

When you people say small, what do you mean? They're playing around a 1,300 people capacity venue... is that small for them?
I've only seen Hatebreed on Mayhem and supporting Five Finger Death Punch last year, so idk how big they are alone.
I'm super psyched though, I think this is their first headlining show here in like 5+ years

The place they're playing in Hollywood only holds 450 people. When I saw them with Type O Negative, they played a venue that holds 1,700 people and then they recently played the Fox that holds 2,000 people, so this is small for them.

JD and I saw them in Sept. at House Of Blues which holds like 1,700 people and is in the middle of Chicago.

This show is in Joliet which is in the middle of bumfuck no where about a hour from Chicago and holds like 600 people.

Maybe they're just going for the more intimate setting? Or just trying to sell places out?

I think the support acts are the difference. After tours with Slipknot, Ozzfest, 5FDP & Mayhem Fest, Shadows Fall seems to have fallen way behind in popularity compared to the other bands who broke through when they did (KsE, AtR, LoG) compared to their own popularity 5 years ago. Also alot of the cities are B & C level markets in the winter (bad weather for some shows could hurt day of show ticket sales) after the holidays in a horrible economy. Its better to sell out a 700 capacity venue than only sell half at a 1500 capacity venue. Thats my guess as to the logic behind booking smaller venues.

NickLed19
11-29-2012, 02:06 AM
The Nashville show venue is almost too big for Hatebreed. They could sell out the Exit In.

They tend to play at The Palladium here when they headline, which holds about 2,000 people.
