If they play this on the next US tour, I will shit a brick.

Did they finally realize Heritage was complete bullshit and decide to drop it?

I hope so. I skipped their last two shows in WA because their setlist was so lackluster.

They did the Heritage tour all over the world already. This is not the same thing. They haven't performed in months, so this is a new tour that isn't necessarily promoting Heritage. They're just playing a variety of songs from their repetoire. Fuck yea.

This European Tour goes til the new year and then I'm sure they'll tour the US in spring 2013.

Am I the only one that thinks that this is just an ok set? I mean it's definitely better than what they've played on the last two US tours but it's nothing I haven't seen them play live before.

Good set.. still needs to drop The Devil's Orchard and Famine, though.

This set does nothing for me. Two years ago id be going nuts, but I think I just dont care about Opeth anymore (commence everyone pissed at me for saying that).

I'm pretty much at that same point now.

Can't blame you, their last album was atrocious.

Their last three have been hit or miss for me, each one not as good imo.

Atrocious? How we metal listeners love to exaggerate things.

I love the song Burden, that keyboard solo

Atrocious? How we metal listeners love to exaggerate things.

It was atrocious. It was pretentious, never rose above "moderately boring", and has large chunks of relative silence in the songs. If any other band released it, no one would ever talk about it.

The ever present mindset of "ITZ NOT GOOD IF ITZ NOT TR00 BR00TALZ HEAVY METULZ HERPADERP"

Coma323

lol that's far from the reason I find it unlistenable

Pretentious is exactly how I would describe it. Its just prog rock for the sake of being prog rock, and just very underwhelming.
