A Who show without My Generation of Won't Get Fooled Again feels kind of wrong.

I saw The Who back in 06 for their newist album, it was not a bad show. 4 days later I hopped the border to Seattle for Roger Waters - Dark Side Of The Moon tour. The Who show was a faded memory after that, also this being said id love to see The Who doing this classic album in full!!

I have mixed feelings about that. I LOVE Quadrophenia and would love to see it in it's entirety. But then again, come one man, I wanna see everything else too. I wanna hear Water :hmm:

Behind Blue Eyes is all that really matters.

Maybe it's a fair compairison maybe it's not. I would assume Who fans would be pretty ok w/ not hearing it. Just like (alot) of Metallica fans would be thrilled as hell not to have to hear Sandman and/or Nothing Else Matters. Seeing that all those songs have just been beaten into the ground by this point. Maybe I'm way off. Not a huge Who fan, I could be off.

I'd be super pissed if they omitted that as well, but it ranks as follows:

1. Won't Get Fooled Again
2. Behind Blue Eyes
3-9 the rest of the album

Also, don't you dare compare those two songs to Nothing Else Matters. Won't Get Fooled Again is 100,000,000 times the song that snoozefest is.

I could have clarified. I was more referring to My Generation as opposed to Won't Get Fooled Again.

My Generation is 95,000,000 times the song Nothing Else Matters is.

Would like to see this tour but it's not coming close and it's expensive as hell.

No Teenage Wasteland? Should that be unsurprising for some reason?

Are you joking? The name of that song is Baba O'Riley:tp:

I don't have a problem with the set. Considering Roger and Pete are in their later 60s and are still playing 20 something songs a night is not a bad thing at all. Especially for Pete, who is almost completely deaf at this point.

Tickets are ranging from $40 to $130 in Boston. Compared to Waters, Neil Young & The Eagles, that's literally half the price of the other classic rock kings.

I read on Rolling Stone that Pete Townshend left the stage before the show was over. So maybe it was in the set and was not played. Apparently Pete was complaining that the monitors were too loud and stormed off the stage.

Count me one of the losers that didn't know that, or forgot it one. I've only ever referred to it as 'Teenage Wasteland', and have only heard it referred to that as well.

Mighty conspicuous being absent from the set, should've known something was up.

Curious as to how the Who sounded.
