Looks like Slipknot will be headlining Day 1 on May 11th while Black Sabbath headlines Day 2 according to Slipknot's Facebook.

Posted this in the Facebook group when it was announced a couple of weeks ago. Obvious Sabbath would headline. Surprised about Slipknot though, seeing as they only just said in recent interviews that they're on hiatus...

Ah, I didn't know you posted this already. Slipknot was certainly a surprise.

Slipknot doing European festivals as well. Without a new album though I wish they wouldn't.

No, because that's not what that phrase means.

 Really? What're you, 12?
Anyway, I would hope you would know that phrase refers to doing different things, not mistakenly doing the same thing. It's also most commonly used for doing something pre-emptively.

No, it doesn't necessarily mean different things. It can mean taking credit for something somebody else did. But you are right that it is commonly used for pre-emptive actions, so in that sense it is used incorrectly. Despite this, I know you understood my post. Yet you couldn't play along with a harmless jest, something you're well known for dishing out on here.

Really want to see the full line up. This has the potential to be One of the best festivals of the year.

I've called half of those bands "my favorite band" at some time or another, so that'd be an amazing weekend. Also looking forward to the rest of the bill.

They should try to get Abigail and Envy on this and make them play back-to-back. That would be interesting.

Yet another chance for Passenger with Maynard on vocals that won't happen.

THIS. Also, another headscratching thing was that Serj Tankian didn't join Deftones for a performance of Mein during both the SOAD/Deftones summer tour and the two Knotfest dates last year. And Serj DID come up on stage with Deftones at the Iowa Knotfest date... for a Suite-Pee interjection during the bridge of Root. Biggest missed opportunity there.

There's a band called Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas?!
