Their bassist won't be touring with them however...

It's not only rock ‘n’ roll.

Sometimes in life you have to make decisions that are neither simple or easy to make. Graveyard have - after a time filled with difficulties and a search for solutions - been forced to make such a decision. Due to personal problems with addiction, it has come to the point where Rikard, to get the proper help, will have to take a break from touring with the band. Rikard is without a doubt still a member of Graveyard, but as things are at the moment it just doesn't work and something has to be done. The other members give Rikard their full support and the time off needed to try to beat this.

How this will affect the band - it is agreed upon by all four members that the show will go on and to do so the band will tour with a stand in bassplayer.

This has been a far from easy decision to make and the timing isn't the best. But Graveyard as a band has it's mind set on being around for a long time to come. And looking at it from that perspective and Rikards personal health this is the only option. This is all the band have got to say about this somewhat personal matter and we'll give the final words to Rikard himself:

"After living the hard life for most of my life. It has come to the point that I have to take a break from playing the music that I love."

Some buddies back home that are friends of Theo Mindell told me that Orchid might be on this tour. If so, this will be a fricken amazing bill.

So there's the possibility of a few of these dates featuring Graveyard, The Devil's Blood, Royal Thunder and Orchid? Holy shit!

I wish The Devil's Blood and Royal Thunder were on the entire tour. I wonder what their touring plans are otherwise...

Holy shit indeed.

What the hell is The Devil's Blood doing over here again anyway? They're one of the greatest bands I've ever seen perform... I hope we reunite again soon.

Nothing more to report, sorry. It could have fallen through by now, apparently Theo can be tough to work with when it comes to pretty much anything- even little things like the mastering for Heretic wasn't without some drama.

Just got an update on Orchid. They were gonna play the whole tour, but they decided to decline in order to finish a new album. They'll be touring Europe a bit afterwards instead.

Hey, thanks for the info. Good news on the album but that sucks about the tour.

...

So does anyone have any updates as to what The Devil's Blood is doing in North America around this time of year? I really want to see them again. It would be absolutely titstastic if they were headlining near me.

Yeah, them and Royal Thunder are doing a full US tour. Mlny told my friend and I the other night.

Thanks! I really hope they play a few Canadian dates as well. I'm not sure how likely it is though - I know TDB sold a fuckton of merch here on the Behemoth/Watain tour, but I've heard rumours of Royal Thunder having a bit of border difficulty before. They were supposed to play here with Anciients/Witch Mountain/Castle but it never happened for whatever reason.

Well, they played a couple of dates in Ontario last week, so I hope they won't have any problems in the future, cause we need this tour to come to Canada!

Oh, sorry I misread. Devil's Blood tour probably deserving of it's own thread then?

Esp. b/c I just found another one (Denver on 2/10):
