(A bit late cause of site outages and days off of work)
First night of the tour! In Washington DC at the posh Howard Theater.
Blackguard sounded good, similar set to their headline show the previous week.
System Divide was pleasantly surprisingly, and got photos with the female singer.
Insomnium was very good, even won people over who had never heard of them before
Alestorm was great- despite some setlist... complaints.
Epica sounded great as well, but had a tired crowd after the energetic Alestorm pits
Highlights were:
System Divide singer, falling down during Blackguard pit, guy from Epica saying they should come to Jaxx next time, Alestorm pits, the Disco lights during Cry For the Moon, and the 60's dance The Swim that Simone did during same song
