The Black Dahlia Murder confirmed.

“We in THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER look forward to seeing you and your friend’s fancy haircuts this summer at the Van’s Warped Tour. I think it’s safe to say that all of us in TBDM have attended this tour at various points and have fond memories of this great American punk rock freak show.
This time, we shall be the freaks… the sore thumb poking at your eyeball. We are proud to be the fastest, craziest, and most evil band that has ever played Warped Tour… hundreds of bands will enter, one band will leave. Us. We will emerge from the rubble like the giant cockroach men we are. See ya this summer… let’s get warped!!!”

For a Warped band, sure.

And you have to remember, Warped is pretty far from a metal tour and even further from drawing a metal crowd. I doubt TBDM will be on a mainstage, but the other stages can draw big crowds too.

in 2010, I saw the Dillinger Escape Plan on one of the biggest stages there and there were maybe 100 people there to watch them. I was up close so I couldn't really tell, but it was probably less. On the mainstage was Emmure and The Devil Wears Prada who had huge crowds. It's just how it works.

Ommie

Not really familiar with most of these bands but I'll check them out. I've heard good things about Man Overboard, Mac Lethal, and MC Lars. The Chariot puts one hell of a live show so I might check them out if they aren't clashing with anyone else.

They'll probably save the main stage bands for the later announcement, they're just naming off the bands that are going to be on the smaller stages probably.

It was tough enough loading our gear out that last night of Mayhem onto our respective trucks to send back to LA or wherever with just 13 bands and a few dozen crew members, but now with an extra couple hundred crew and dozens more bands...Jesus. She's mainly into that whole Nickelback / Maroon 5 type music though but at least Maroon 5 is tolerable.

you'll definitely want to watch Man Overboard, but you'd be crazy to miss Handguns. They are old school fun energetic pop punk in the vein of early blink-182 and they put on killer live shows.

I plan on seeing:

Big D And The Kids Table
Bring Me The Horizon
Citizen
Defeater
Forever Came Calling
HANDGUNS
Mac Lethal
Man Overboard
MC Lars
Mixtapes
Motion City Soundtrack
Rel Big Fish
Stick To Your Gus
The Black Dahlia Murder
The Story So Far
The Wonder Years
Tonight Alive

Bold = bands I'm mainly going for
