Lo-Pan is on all dates, Primate is on from November 23 to December 1, and COC is on from December 18-21.

I may go to this, I've never seen HoF live and Primate would be pretty cool, plus Goatwhore is gret live.

I'm surprised no one is talking about Primate being on here. It's Bill from Mastodon's new band that is fucking badass.

We are very aware of who they are and yes very fucking badass! I think the more important part is that Kevin from Brutal Truth is on vocals!!! I wrote up two reviews for when I saw them last March :D I hope they put out a new record soon and go on tour again.

Although I love everything High on Fire has done and they're probably in my top 10-15 bands of all time, I really hope this set doesn't focus too much on the last two albums. Since there's not a million high-caliber openers, hopefully they get a good amount of time to play a huge set.

Also I'm kind of sad by how much of a non-factor Goatwhore is to me. :( They were the very first metal band I ever saw live, but I just don't even care for them anymore.

I think they should take a short break from touring to let Soilent Green have some fun. After that, people will be interested in them again.

Before I saw them with Hate Eternal earlier this year, the last time I had seen them was in 2007!

I've seen them close to 10 times and they've never played more than 70-75 minutes.

Really? The first time I saw them, the set lasted 90 minutes. I timed it and everything.

Is the venue far from you?? Maybe you can try it and see if they notice. How many days is it before your bday?

Six days and it's in Chicago, so around sixty miles. I'm considering possibly trying that, otherwise I could just find something else to do in Chicago, so it's not a wasted trip.

Hmm that's a pretty big risk then. Ask around for how strict the place is. If it was less than 3 days, then it might be different. Plus, going from December 7th to a double digit date will catch the bouncer's eye. I remember I went to see Brujeria 4 days before I turned 21 and the bouncer caught I wasn't 21 for the drinking wrist band.

Gonna try and hit both Santa Cruz and SF. I've got friends both in the South Bay and East Bay, so it should be a ton of fun. I'm really looking forward to the new songs, but I doubt anything really cool will get pulled out, especially since they usually only play for 75 minutes like Tony said. Hell, we could probably predict the setlist right now if we wanted to.

That fucking blows. I remember the second to last time High on Fire headlined it was a week before my 18th birthday and then the last time they were here everybody I was supposed go with bailed the night before the show. Then of course there was their Mayhem Fest cancellation this year. This go-round isn't looking favorable either. At this rate I don't think I'll ever see High on Fire:(

At this rate I don't think I'll ever see High on Fire:(I take it, then, that you never plan to turn 21, become transportationally independent or decide to go to shows by yourself. In that case, you're right. You're never seeing HoF.

:finger: I'm just saying shitty circumstances (my two friends I was supposed to go with the last time they came here with Torche and Kylesa had an unexpected death in the family and got called into work respectively and I didn't want to be that dickhead going to the show without them) tend to always come in to play when High on Fire is playing near me.

The Turf Club, this place is so tiny. I am shocked this isn't a Triple Rock or Station 4 show. I'm guessing both venues had to have been booked with other shows.

That said I can't miss High On Fire, and this is my 3rd time seeing Goatwhore this year. haha

I"m bummed I missed High On Fire last time they came through. I had free tickets IN MY GRASP, but my drunk friends kept yelling "DUDE YOU WON PANTERA TICKETS!??!?!" and the radio station hung up on me :(

Either way, good venue, rad line up, can't wait.

Awesome I'm excited... and kinda bummed our show isn't for almost 3 months. I could probably never hear Devilution and Rumors of War again though.
