...I don't know about that. FFFF looks much better than this, and though I love Absu and Inquisition, I'm sure you'll get another chance (if you haven't seen them already) to see them.

Well, I don't want to miss FFF altogether. I just want to ditch my full weekend pass and get a Friday-only ticket to see Kvelertak, Torche, Waste, Napalm, Converge, Tomahawk, Earth and Run DMC.

Still, I'd stick with FFF. I just looked at the schedule for Saturday and you get Refused, Youth of Today, OFF!, Brutal Truth, Joyce Manor, and Power Trip.

Yeah, plus I guess Inquisition hasn't fully confirmed this show yet. But an Absu headlining set is sooooooo tempting.

And the Sword and Red Fang. Not to mention Black Tusk and Royal Thunder at night.

And on Sunday there's Turbonegro, Fucked Up, Valient Thorr, Pallbearer, De La Soul, Rakim... and Nachtmystium and Venomous Maximous at night.

Honestly, if you wanted my opinion, F3F > This.

Don't get me wrong, Absu headlining is a fuckin' great thing, but if I had the three day pass for the festival (especially since it's in Austin as opposed to Houston), I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else.

Plus, the others keep mentioning all the bands you'd be skipping, and they're making a pretty good point...

Yeah, I mean ultimately I'm going to stay in Austin for FFF all weekend. Too many good acts this year.

Absu owes Austin a show for missing CiT this year. But I'm glad Proscriptor's knee is repaired and he is back in good health. The videos from Slaughter By The Water were great.

Absu and Inquisition does sound incredible, but that FFF Fest lineup just has SOOO many awesome bands! No matter what, I'm just jealous you live in Texas that weekend haha.
