I told myself I'd never pay to see MegaDave again, but if they're all in small venues like the Starland, I might have to go.

I really wanna go to the Huntington show. I really hope my studies allow it, Countdown is one of my three favorite Megadeth albums.

I'd be cool with that.

Looks like the dates kind of suck. I really wanna see Countdown, my girlfriend's sister lives in Charlotte, I don't have class, and I only have one other show this fall. I think Charlotte will be (hopefully) happening.

Edit: I'd be willing to bet a good amount of money that there will be a 2nd leg in 2013 as they're skipping huge parts of the West Coast and the Midwest but I still don't wanna take a chance on it.

I have a friend who wants to go to the ATL date, but I have an exam in class that day, so we won't make it in time. :/

Oh well, I like Rust in Peace more anyways, and I saw that in 2010 with a waaaaay better lineup than this.

Let's see, it's at the ridiculously expensive Fox Theater, it'll take a fuckton of effort to get to Pomona, they're playing an album I really don't like and they will probably only play for like 75 minutes. Pass!

It's the complete opposite for me! I love the Fox! I wish all shows that are too big for the Glass House go there. It's so close and convenient for me. Plus, plenty of free parking. If I didn't already have tickets to see Social D at the HOB Anaheim that night, I would go.

Nice that the Fox works well for you! Being in Westwood plus having no car kills me- it takes three different buses just to get to Pomona for me!

Whaaat? Fox Theater shows are usually never pricey, well none that I have been to. This is one will be so I'll probably pass, $52+ for Megadeth really isn't worth it this time. Countdown is okay.

I love the Fox and all, but $52 is way too much money for Megadeth. I might pay that if it was Peace Sells though...

Love Fox as well, can't wait for Circa Survive and Tacking Back Sunday. But yeah I think I paid less when I saw Megadeth play Rust. So this is a pass. Plus opener is gonna most likely suck.

Yeah, this is the exact logic that sucks people into these shows. The album only has a few songs that are on par with the albums before it, the rest of it ranges from boring to horrible. It never needs to played in full. Unless you're more of a mainstream metal fan, I don't see why this seems so enticing.

You're right, he will be able to see Suffocation again, and they will probably continue playing a lot of the same songs. But the thing is, their entire set is full of awesome songs. On top of that they are one of the best live bands I've ever seen, and I'm not the only one to say that. When you also consider that and the fact that this show will be cheaper than Megadeth, it all adds up to being much more worth it in my opinion.

Well, you may as well not go see them then, because Mustaine hasn't been able to sing since 2010. Go see Suffocation.

I think my days of seeing Megadeth are done. I've seen them 4 times now and they're never going to top the Rust In Peace Anniversary show, and their sets just keep getting worse. It's cool that they're playing CTE in it's entirety I guess, but I'm not a big fan of that album compared to the albums that came before it.

The only thing that might entice me to pay the ticket prices that Megadeth commands these days would be Peace Sells in its entirety, but I know that's never gonna happen.

It might be enticing if you were a 14 year old kid who was just getting into metal at the time this album came out and it played a huge role in making you a metal fan, like it did with me. I'm not the only one out there that happened to, trust me. CTE is Megadeth's Black Album, it was huge for them and their nothing worng with them playing it in full. A huge bulk of their fanbase is with them today because of this "boring to mediocre" album. Every Megadeth fan i've ever known personally loves this album and they should because the album is great. It's Megadeth's second best album behind RIP.

It's probably my personal favorite Megadeth album, or at least tied with RIP (kinda played that one out though). It just has an amazing vibe to it, even though song for song it might not stand up to RIP.

I never said that the album wasn't huge for them, and in no way was I implying it would not sell a lot of tickets. That doesn't make the album good. It wouldn't be the first time in history that a bunch of people have liked mediocre music.

So when do these go on sale?

Fan club presale starts today. The show i'm going to on november 17th goes on sale friday at 10am. I'm guessing most places go on sale this friday or saturday.

Why are they doing a presale? Aren't all these venues general admission? I get it for reserved seats if you wanna get something close but it makes no sense for GA venues.

Well said, even though nothing good comes to Boise I may pass on this. I saw Megadeth on the original Rust in Peace tour back in '90 opening for Judas Priest and the 2010 reprise, I would hate for my last memory of them to be bad.
