I figured it was something like that. From my place to Milwaukee is 5 hours and 10 minutes. It fucking sucks, although Summer Slaughter was worth it.

And yeah I figured this tour would have been bigger. I know After The Burial really wants to show off Reflections because one of the guys in the band is their manager, and they are about to sign to Sumerian, if they aren't already signed to them.

Haven't they always been signed to Sumerian?

Reflections? They just release their debut a couple months ago. They are from the Twin Cities and the drummer I think just turned 17, or is soon.

Makes me sad that I'm 24 and never got an opportunity like that.

This would be a sick show, After the Burial and The Contortionist on the same bill is epic.

Be grateful you're 24 and didn't play breakdowns in a god awful band.

I was talking about Reflections. They were one of the worst things I've ever seen.

After the Burial five minutes from my apartment? Eh, why the hello not? The Contortionist is a good band and I've been wanting to see them live for a while so this looks like a good opportunity to do so.

I actually dig them. Yes they do breakdowns, but for their ages they are quite talented and they have my support.

I'm 30 seconds into this song and it's complete garbage.

They sound like almost every other band of their genre.

The song title for that song makes me want to hit somebody. But even if it had another name, the music would make me want to do the same. Not only is the music super bland, but the tone is pretty shitty. Can djent/progcore die already?

MPF

I won't defend the band, as I rarely can change people's minds on music. But I will just say that despite the Djent sound, they are good guys and actually talented for their ages. and by the time of their next album their sound will change immensely.

Also Djent is dying. The album that killed it is Periphery II: This Time, It's Personal . And I mean that in the best possible way, it's a Prog album, not a Djent album.

Well yeah, from what I heard you say these guys are like, my age and they're touring. That's awesome for them. I just think the music they make is bad.
